I am fed up of reading comments on here that are both racist and ignorant and seem to come from people who don't seem to really know what they are talking about.
not every single person who isn't english(or american) want to come into the country to live on our benefits and all the other bullsh*t you lot are typing. not every single person who wants to marry an english person is a con artist who is only marrying so they can come to this country.
and this country isn't as "cramped" with immigrants as you probly think it is. you just belive whatever you read in the newspapers and see on the tv. and if you actually knew anyone who was trying to come over here you would realise it isn't as easy as you think. it's a long and very stressful time.

whilst i have concerns about immigration to the UK i do find many comments on this issue offencive and blatantly racial to the point that i have reported answers on a number of occasions . It is making it very difficult to have an open debate or to answer questions on this issues due to a few idiots on this site

Why is it that every time someone has something to say that is negative about another person who is not the same colour it is automatically branded as racism? If you are intelligent enough to recognise that there are physical differences between races, is it that much of a mental adjustment to appreciate that there is the possibility of mental differences. Commenting on these differences is not racism, but simple observation.

I have just returned from Sri Lanka. I have found the people to be generally lacking in motivation to the point of being work-shy, and generally dishonest. The majority have poor personal hygeine, and are lying and duplicitous and from the government down to they seem to have a begging ethic rather than a work ethic. (The politicians project international sympathy donations as political achievements !!!) This is not racism, but it simply my experience based upon my personal encounters. I do not have the same low opinion of people from the Maldives who have a similar ethnicity.

Yes well you can give me your opinion until you are blue in the face, but my son is unable to get a job at the moment, even in the local factory, as all the workers were made redundant and a week later replaced by a completely Polish crew! It is impossible to understand the local bus driver as his English is so limited. To finish off, the majority of the staff at the hospital, from Dr's to cleaners are Foreign workers. I know for a fact some of them are in the country illegally, so don't you dare tell me it isn't happening. It may not be the same where you are, but it could be! I have no problem with immigration at all, but it has to be fair, one party should not have to suffer at the expense of the other. For Gods sake we are all human, can't we at least try to get on?

Really well said. I was thinking exactly the same thing. Most people don't have a clue. Being married to an Albanian, many people just assume the worst and what they don't realise is how offensive they are being. We are just as much in love than any other couple, I would never mock anyone else in this regard, so I think it's totally appaulling that anyone would do so to us.

I will admit though, the country is pretty much filled to capacity as far as immigrants are concerned, but that doesn't excuse the generalising and discriminating comments I read here every day.

HTH : )

If you feel that strongly......why are you reading them? There are many boards available for use.Perhaps you would like to try another which is more pleasing to you.
Whenever someone disagrees with what is written on here, the word "racist" seems to crop up. Yes,it does happen occasionally.Lets be clear about one thing,"racism" works BOTH ways. There have been a few posts recently by certain people, who seem to band about the term "white trash".
Unfortunately you are wrong about immigration. I do not rely on the newspapers for my information regarding the immigration figures,I get my information from the GOVERNMENTS own figures. They themselves tell us the rate of immigration! They themselves agree it is now time to limit it!! Its called COMMON SENSE! I suppose thats racist as well!!

If you are "tired of reading comments..." then stop reading them.
You are not being forced to read or post here. This is not a question; just a rant. There are plenty of sites and newsgroups for that.

I understand your point that the process is long and stressful but it is the legal process just the same. Every other country on this planet has some sort of rules in place with regards to immigration, why is it everyone seems the US shouldn't? For example, Canada...work visas are not easy to get, if at all, and are a long process as well.

Yes..it must be very stressful waiting in the forests around Calias for a chance to sneak on board a lorry bound for Dover
..even more so now that the French police are chasing them off with dogs and destroying the 'camp' sites.

i think of he could ensue as a wrestler nevertheless, in simple terms with a distinctive path. He would desire to sign in yet another merchandising, not the WWF(E). and that i think of part's profession could in all probability substitute too, with out the 'part and Christian' tag team.

Me too. Racism relies upon ignorance and making scapegoats of people. Unfortunately the racists know this and exploit it fully.

This country has many social problems, mostly caused by economic and social systems we've created, not to mention class. The same economic systems that rule this country also make life hard in their own so no wonder people come here.

Lets face it with all the racists there are here it's not much to be proud of anymore is it? Once they all shut up perhaps things will change. Most people who live here are tolerant and fair minded people. Unfortunately they are also fairly quiet about things like racism.

People are probably just fed up with the situation in this country! It's not racist not to want to have another culture/religion imposed upon us!

I wonder what would happen if i went to their country's and tried to create an English community like their are Muslim Sikh etc community's over here!

I totally agree with you. I am in UK, and I have realised that some people tend to think that immigrants are taking up everything, such as benefits, or jobs. But if you are visa national, then you are not entitled to receive benefit at all, so you have to work and pay 25% tax from your wage to support those people receiving benefit, who are mostly British than anything else, complaining of not having a job because of immigrants, it makes me think that those people are total dumb arses. They also seem to think that if you enter UK illegally, you are automatically granted free everything, but I wounder where they got those bullshi*t from.
I answer questions to help people who wants to have lives, not to sit around all day to collect benefit like some people do. Illegal or legal, if there is a question I can answer, then I answer to help them. I get thumbs down often from those ignorants, but who cares.
