Yes, I learned to drink iced tea in Texas when I was going to school there. If you eat at a barbeque in Texas (and who doesn't, if you live there?), you either drink beer or iced tea or you go thirsty.
The main thing in making iced tea is you don't want to steep the tea so long that it gets tannic. Some people do this because they are trying to concentrate the tea, figuring that the ice is going to dilute it. No no no no no, very bad idea, all you will get is very bitter-tasting nasty tea. In order to concentrate the tea, you use more tea bags, you don't steep it longer. I've found that using 1-1/2 to 2 times the number of tea bags that I would use to prepare a comparable amount of hot tea works for me, but it varies, depending on how concentrated you like your tea and the tea you use.
To sweeten iced tea, you don't want to use plain granulated sugar because it won't dissolve. You want to use simple syrup, made by combining equal quantities of sugar and water and boiling it, then using this to sweeten the tea. (If you want, you can add some mint to the simple syrup and that really makes the tea taste good.)
I love iced tea on a hot day, but only if it's prepared properly.

statistically if u drink iced tea on a regular basis you are more likely to be or become homo-sexual. now im not saying that being gay is bad or that if you do drink alot of iced tea that you are gay, its just that thats what statistics show. The more you know.

yes, iced green tea especially, but only home-made iced tea. Lipton and other bottled teas contain some preservatives.

I love unsweetened Nestea. I add ice and no-calorie sweetner like splenda to it and it is the perfect no calorie drink. It is a good way to drink water if you don't like plain water.
