I would think that he was sweet and amazing. Any guy that would take the time out to do that for a girl is the best. Null in void ( Or no questions about it)

Guys that will take the time to make you breakfast in bed, I don't believe, will be the type to do so to try and control you. The controlling guy is going to make you get up and get him breakfast, not the other way around.
Gender aside, I would be with the guy who made breakfast in bed for me quicker than I would be with the woman who felt I was controlling her by bringing her breakfast. In fact, I'd stay as far away from the woman as possible.

Bert... I suspect you aren't giving us all the details here.
If I gave my wife some workout clothes 2 sizes too small and a gym membership and then asked Y!Answers "If a guy gave you clothes for Valentine's Day, ones that he thought you would look real hot in, would you be mad at him?" what I really did was tell her to lose weight!
I'm not saying this is what happened or you are at fault but there has got to be more to the story.

Breakfast in bed in supposed to be eaten in bed, and if he made the food then that's what your eating. Don't send him back to the kitchen even if everything is burnt :-). Let him know you appreciate the gesture.

If my bird said that i'd just laugh at her and eat it myself in frony of her laughing all the way through it.
Who doesnt want to be woke up with breakfast like that its known as being considerate not controlling.

modern romance is such a touchy subject. It's hard to tell now whether someone would let you make them breakfast in bed, or hold the door for them.
Me, I'd like it if my guy made me breakfast in bed, I think it's sweet.

I wouldn't put it past some women to read something into something that has absolutely nothing to read into.
Isn't that sad.
And it's sad that some guy may have caused her to spiral into this dark chasm.
And it's sad that some poor bloke is suffering needlessly because of that.

i think if a guy made you breakfast in bed he'd want you to eat the breakfast in bed..... maybe i don't understand the question....

as long as I could eat what I liked & eat in in bed then NO!
If he made things I don't like & told me to eat them then yes !

yes I would. I don't take orders and I am old enough to know how, where, and what to eat without some control freak trying to dictate things to me. If he had a certain order he'd like me to eat in, serve the meal in courses, otherwise back off...
