I need some new recipe for fried chicken beside
the basic.can someone help?

Oven Fried Chicken

¼ t red pepper
1 cup cornflakes crushed
1 t paprika
½ t garlic powder
¼ t ground thyme
¼ cup buttermilk
6 chicken breasts halved

Combine 1st 5 ingredients in plastic bag. Skin breasts and brush both sides with buttermilk. Place chicken in bag of crumbs and shake to coat. Place chicken on broiler pan that has been sprayed with vegetable spray. Bake at 400° for 45 min. or until done. 6 servings. Other pieces of the chicken can be used for this recipe.

This is actually a really good recipe. Try it out. Hope you enjoy

* 2 teaspoons garlic powder, or to taste
* 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon paprika
* 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
* 1 cup all-purpose flour
* 1/2 cup milk
* 1 egg
* 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - pounded thin
* 1 cup oil for frying, or as needed

DIRECTIONS

1. In a shallow dish, mix together the garlic powder, pepper, salt, paprika, bread crumbs and flour. In a separate dish, whisk together the milk and egg.
2. Heat the oil in an electric skillet set to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Dip the chicken into the egg and milk, then dredge in the dry ingredients until evenly coated.
3. Fry chicken in the hot oil for about 5 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear. Remove from the oil with a slotted spatula, and serve.

I just used one I found on the internet. New for me anyway. You soak the chicken overnight in buttermilk. Now this recipe called for salt and pepper before the buttermilk, but when cooked, the chicken wasn't seasoned enough for me. So what I did was to season the chicken after the buttermilk soak and before dredging in the flour. Then fry as usual. I've also used beer before the dredging. I'll be interested in everyone else's recipe as well.

Take a Rectangular baking dish place chicken skin side up in dish. Slice an onion and place rings on top of chicken. Peel two potatoes, cube and place around chicken. In mixing bowl, mix one can cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 tsp garlic, 1 tsp paprika, a dash of pepper, 1 tbs or parsley flakes and 1 cup white wine. Mix well and pour over chicken and potatoes. Cover with foil and bake at 400 for an hour. (remove foil last 15 mins of baking)

Don't fry it, just peel all the skin off, put it in a baking dish and bake it in the oven. Once it is done, make you some rice. In a serving dish, make a bed of rice, set the baked chicken breasts on the rice and cover it with some cream of chicken. Bake that for a few more minutes till the cream of chicken has heated. Goes great with early peas and rolls.

3 Oven Fried Chicken Recipes

3 Delicious oven fried chicken recipes. Variations: Basic Oven Fried, Italian and Mexican. Prep time includes cleaning chicken and coating it.

2 tablespoons margarine
2/3 cup Bisquick baking mix
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2-2 1/2 lbs broiler-fryer chickens, cut-up


Heat oven to 425 degrees.
Place margarine in a 13x9-inch baking pan.
Melt margarine in the oven; remove pan from oven.
Mix Bisquick Mix, paprika, salt and pepper; coat chicken pieces.
Place chicken (skin-side-down) in baking pan.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes; remove pan from oven.
Lower oven temperature to 400 degrees.
Turn chicken over, (in pan) and bake in oven for additional 30 minutes.
Serves 4 to 6 people.
Variations: For Italian chicken, add 1 T. of Italian seasoning and 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder to the coating mix.
Mexican chicken: decrease Bisquick Mix to 1/2 c., and add 2 T. cornmeal and 1-2 T. chili powder.

If you have an indoor grill (George Foreman type) put the chicken on it with different types of seasonings (cajun, jerk, lemon pepper, etc.). Or try cutting the chicken into bite size pieces and stir frying it with some good veggies (cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, mushrooms, etc.) or put the chicken in a piece of foil with some veggies and seasonings and bake for a bit.

My aunt makes the best honey bbq chicken. Just fry the chicken the regular way with egg and flour. ( fully cooked)Then put them in a baking dish and bast with BBQ sauce and bake for 20-30 minutes.

Marinate the chicken before frying... it's awesome! There are so many things you can use... buttermilk, bbq sauce, pineapple juice (I usually cut this with water), lots of other stuff too. Once it's done marinating I dip it in egg & then in some kind of seasoning (chili powder, garlic, oregano, italian seasonings... you name it!) and the coating (flour, crackers, cornflakes, etc). You can also change things up by creating your own dipping sauce!

wanna try tandoori chicken??
get some chicken, obviously ;-) ,stir fry it in a little oil until its cooked then add some tandoori ready made masala (can get it from indian groceries) jus mix it throughly until all the chicken is well coated,can serve it with a slice of lemon & onions.here u r,TANDOORI CHICKEN IN JUS 10 MINS!!!! better than ordinary fried chicken,i suppose....
