you are running out of time. out of oil in tranny/t-case/diff. bad bearings. could be bad ring/pinion. loose pinion nut/internal fasteners loose. stop driving it. hope this helps

Did not mention 1500 or 2500 series, if memory serves the 2500 when equipped with Trailer Tow may have included sure-grip rear end, which if you have lost any fluid will begin to howl and clank and quickly come apart.

It sounds like a chipped or broken pinon gear in the rear axle to me. If you don't get it fixed real quick it will leave you stranded.

Most likely your rear end bearings are shot... very common with the chrysler 9.25 axle that is under that truck.
