Yea, Its normal. IT SUCKS, but its normal. Sometimes our lives occupy much of our time, and its hard to find others to relate to on a sexual level. I know I was very picky with whom I slept with, so there definitly months where I had no sex either. Good luck to you

There is no normal.

I have a friend in his 40's who has never had sex. He has decided that he is never going to (and gloats about it).

I have male, female, straight, bi, and gay friends that all have varying degrees of abstinence and (umm...I do not want to call it slutty) sexually active times.

Personally, I had a bad relationship with the 2nd person I ever had sex with and went for well over a year without having sex. I was not emotionally ready to get involved with anyone else and did not feel like taking the risk of intimacy with strangers.

A close friend of mine was molested as a child, and though she stopped the abuse, it took her years to ever enjoy sex. She had relationships with many men, and lied about enjoying sex to some of them (but not all, some did not care as long as she put out). She had told me that she is not sure if the years of bad relationships helped her move on eventually or made her worse.

The most important thing is to BE SAFE. Do not have sex if it is not something you want. If you do decide to have sex use protection. Beware of environments where you might do something foolish: drinking, isolated places, alone on a drive, etc. Some men are monsters and really can't take "no" for an answer. Do not give in to peer pressure about "normal" because there is no such thing and most of us lie to our friends about our exploits anyway.

being single means you should not be having sex. At least you're not one of those who go out and have sex just to say they got some. I think that it is good that you have your values.

wait for one to make you want it that bad, you will not believe how unbelieveably hot sex the next time will be!!!

your senses will be so heightened and your body will be impatient, so enjoy it when it happens.

there is no such thing as normal or abnormal when it comes to the frequency of having sex, only availability which is why there is masturbation, toys and prostitutes (m and f).
