Help me in decorating my bed room?

Question

it is almost square. Has two large windows on two adjacent walls. My bed has been made out of dark brown wood, i don't know its type. its a double bed,no carvings. I have already bought a rug. Its off white. You have to help me with the curtains, colour and design. What sort of a studying table should i have. I want pictures in my room too. Help with the entire decoration thing. I want my room to look cool and lively. Also give me suggestions regarding side table lamps

To make the room appear larger, use a light color paint on the walls& woodwork. The ceiling should be a different color that the walls; this also makes the room appear larger. Since the bed is wood, try going with a pretty creamy yellow and bright white woodwork. Paint the ceiling white or off white. The bed could be painted; dont' know if you want to do that. I have a lot of funiture that I have painted and it looks great. The offwhite rug will go with any color. Don't worry if you paint the woodwork bright white. It will look great. For the windows you could hang curtains that are on decorative rods. You want either floor lenght or use the toppers and blinds. You can accent with throw pillows. Anything goes. Don't be afraid to try it. Any type of desk would work. I would go with wood since you have the wood bed. You can buy a desk at a thrift store and paint it to match the bed. Hang you pictures in frames on the wall. Mix and match frames and sizes. Good Luck. Let me know how it turns out.

same color as the bed as well.The curtains should be the color
white with ruffles trimmings.As for the picture do your on thing to set your mood.And the side table lamps the color hunter green or
white.And last but not least decorate your bed with a hunter green
comforter with matching pillowcases.Put throw pillows on the bed

i think since ur furniture is dark brown wood then...... u can go with a blue that's its too dark its more like a bright sky blue and u can do trim around the room in that cream color that u have in your rug...... also u can buy thing like accessories in a bright colors like an orange with make the room a lil contemporary....... for hanging pictures..... try nice frames and lil things like shadow box to help accent the items that u treasure........ also try to have a kool decorative mirror which help bring light if its near a window and ........... u can try ikea.com for accessories if ur desk trying getting it in the same color as ur bed

how about red, black, white, and pink......white walls.......red bedding and curtains........black and pick accesories....get a studying table that doubles as a social table with two chairs...maybe a small round cafe table....go with an french ohhlala style....keep the side tables small so as not to cluttert them and two diff not matchy matchy...paint them black....silver and/or black picture frames will pop off the walls

well you could paint the walls a cream color, get crimson red drapes, you personal photos (copy them black and white) and frame them in a sleek black frame, get either crimson red lamps or pewter lamps w/ a crimson red lamp shade. It will be a nice clean, urban, contemporaray look.
