The Bible is not wrong. There is plenty of evidence showing this. There are many more sources than just the Bible that we can rely on (although the Bible is more than sufficient on it's own).
1. Geography
2. Texts
3. Toponymy
4. Archaeology
Geography- If you study the geography of Israel you would see how it affected the settlement patterns, routes of travel commerce, econmy, politics and thus the history of that time. The geography of the Biblical Israel confirms what we read in the Bible.
Texts- There are extra-biblical texts (texts outside the Bible) that also confirm what is written in scripture. Egyptian sources are primarily from the 2nd millenium BCE. There are 4 types.
1) Expedition journal and topographical lists- example is Thutmose III.
2) Literary papyri-example, Journey of Sinuhe
3) Execration texts- 2 sets (ursing)
4) Coorespondance archives- El Amarna letters
Other Extra Biblical texts include Mesopotamian sources, from Syria the Ebla texts, from Transjordan the Mesha Stele, from Israel the Tel Dan inscription.
Also look at authors like the famous historian Josephus, Tacitus, Pliny the younger, Julius Africanus, and the Talmud.
Toponymy- the study of place names. If you study the cities and other names in the Bible you will see that they have the Principles of Location which prove they really did exist. Those are:
1) Near a water source.
2) Defensible.
3) Continuity of the name through the centuries.
4) It fits with the geography described in the text.
5) Check data from archaelogical surveys.
No one would settle in a place that did not have these Principles of Location.
Archaeology- If we dig in Israel and find ancient sites that are consistent with where the Bible said we would find them, that shows the Bible's history and geography are accurate. One prominate archaeologist carefully examined Luke's references to 32 countries, 54 cities, and 9 islands, finding not a single mistake. These are only some sites that have been excavated: The Pool of Bethesda in John 5:1-15, the Pool of Siloam from John 9:7, Jacob's well from John 4:12, even Pontius Pilate's identity has been confirmed by archaeology! John McRay PH. D. was asked if he had ever encountered an archaeological finding that blatantly contravene a New Testament reference he responded, "Archaeology has nto produced anything that is unequivocally a contradiction to the Bible. On the contrary, there have been many opinions of skeptical scholars that have become codified into 'fact' over the years but that archaeology has shown to be wrong."

1. 1 timothy spoke of false doctrines not the Bible. That Luke passage is fine. The slave didn't know he wasn't doing the master's will (but he still did things worthy of punishment) got less than the slave who KNEW the will and still disobeyed. Sounds right to me. both did bad things and one did something worse than the other, hence the difference in punishment.
2 how was that wrong? all those birds are scavengers, granted they can hunt for themselves but they all scavenge. Are you gonna eat something that eats roadkill? that was also food restrictions for the early Israelites.
3. The Bible is the most historically accurate ancient book known to man. Archeology has proven most of what Luke has spoken of in Luke and Acts.
(Evidence for Christianty: Josh McDowell)
that books has a very extensive and complex case showing how the Bible is indeed accurate.
4. shady on describing the afterlife? in what way. you die, your going to heaven or hell. where's the shadiness?

...For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.... - how do you get to decide if one section of passage is "moral" or ethical"?
Lev 11:13 ¶ And these [are they which] ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they [are] an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray, Lev 11:19 And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat. - how does God's description of "don't eat these" fall into the category of "bad science"?
Of course, you had no "not hitorically accurate" pointers-
Take your magnifying glass off and look at the offering of Jesus; it was enough for you.

The bible to a Christian is their life. They live by this book and it is all their beliefs. Why won't the Islam accept that the Koran is wrong. For the same reason. Just because you don't believe in the Bible doesn't mean it is wrong. Everybody has their own beliefs and they are going to live by them. You might as well get used to it...

I am a christian and I can accept that parts of the bible may be inaccurate as they were written by man and not God. I dont think homosexuals are evil for instance. There are parts of the bible that I do not agree with. What I believe is Gods loves us all even those of you who choose not to believe he exsists, he wants ua all to be good people and help eachother, and he wants us to resist the temptations of evil. That what I believe, some Christians would reject me, and thats fine with me, I believe in God and I believe what makes sense to me and I dont care what anyone thinks, I am proud of what I believe.

maybe you should take some time and really read the Bible - not just the Bible but historical books about the life and times of the writers and who they were writing to so you would understand actually what it means and not what you think it means that way you will better understand it and Christians

Probably for the same reason why atheists and nonbelievers can't accept that atheism is wrong. Didn't you know that if you're an atheist, you have to know that there is a God in order not to believe in Him? Also, it is quite obvious that the Christians won and the atheists lost.

based on your references above, i'd say you don't have a CLUE what you are talking about. Atheists always fail to consider CONTEXT when they quote a scripture. the Bible is not a science book...the scriptures you listed are the laws concerning what animals to eat and what animals NOT to eat. God actually knows a bit about how the bodies of his creation work...that's why he said not to eat certain things. Read it before you make stupid statements.
