That we are judged by what we did/didn't do and what kind of world we helped leave behind, and that if you do good, and there is nothing, well at least you die content knowing you left the world a better place and life wasn't completely meaningless. If you were all about wealth and physical pleasure, as the last ebbs of electricity pulses through your brain you realize what you had and did amounts to nothing because you can't enjoy that you valued most anymore. And I believe if you did bad things in God's name, that you know you are going to hell, no last minute begging will help, and that realization, accept it or not, is in the back of every person's brain.

From the perspective of the person who has died? Nothing. Their conciousness ends. So they experience nothing. From the perspective of those still living? Grief. Sadness. Memories of the person who has died. Thats about it. Some will claim the person is not "really dead", which is patent nonsense. Or that they are in "heaven", which again is nonsense, a non-existant thing can't be anywhere. It does sometimes help them to adjust to the fact that their loved one is no longer with them, however, that is pure self delusion.

I have no idea at all .I only believe that after death all mysteries become clear and I try to make better choices in my life so I won't be too ashamed when I come face to face with my Creator.

Well, I believe that we won't know until we get there. I believe our souls continue on, though. I don't think life after death is possible for us to understand completely until we die.

My mother told me that while she was reading to her mother from the bible at the nursing home when she had cancer, that suddenly her mothers eyes got bright. she smiled. raised her arms up. looking up she cried out Jesus and passed on.she smiled. so I assume she was being taken somewhere nice.I personally believe that Gods spirit will guide me to heaven when I pass on.that it will be a great place.that there will be much for me to learn. that there will be spiritual city's to visit. that my dog will be there to play with and hike and roam with. that my grandparents and parents will be there with my friends there also. That the spirit of God will always be with me guiding me and helping me learn more and more for eternity.I have total faith in God.there is no doubt in me about my salvation.

I believe precisely what the Scripture says. "For it is appointed unto man once to die and after this, the Judgment".
