If we were in fact designed than clearly intelligence was not a factor. Why do we have an appendix? or a gall bladder? Why isn't our weight better distributed so as to prevent back issues? What purpose to all toes (excluding the big toe) serve? (The Big toe helps us balance) I would think that if we had a creator, he must have been drunk at the time.

Saitia: So I guess all of the different translations of the Bible I have read don't count. Neither do any of the other religious texts I have read huh?

Assuming your question is sincere, do you know anything about evolution?
It sounds like you're simply whining about having been made imperfect. Did it hurt like a MF when you had your wisdom teeth pulled? Some people never had them; the human race is still evolving, right along with everything else. And that includes our understanding who, what, and where we are.
The more knowledge anyone has about the world and the universe we live in, the more often complete awe is the overwhelming response. Man can't even produce something as supposedly mundane as a common rooster; or any other living thing. We can't even truly explain what the phenomena of life is!
You, for instance, say in your profile you've "had it" with religion. But have you even done a portion of your homework? Do you feed and bathe yourself without a clue as to what you are? What lives inside you? There's a Divine portion of the Infinite nature of God that indwells the mind of every human being. With a modicum of sincere effort you can make this stupendous discovery for yourself. Put a hot pad on your back, but get to work.

Clearly you're not a scientist. ;)
To counter your questions, I have some of my own.
If there is no Creator, why does the earth rotate at just the right speed, at just the right angle, and at just the right location in space to allow life?
If there is no Creator, where did mankind aquire a conscience and a sense of right and wrong that every other creature lacks?
If there is no Creator, why does mankind have such a yearning to worship someone (or something)? Nearly every religion has a god, even if that god is the self.
We are all wired to believe in something. We'd better make good and sure that what we're believing is correct.

And why do we need clothes or glasses or airplanes (I think wings would have been an intelligent design). And what is intelligent about carpal tunnel syndrome or arthritis or dandruff, couldn't god have at least designed a toenail that didn't get ingrown?

Incompetent design. The planet is a hostile environment and humans have so many flaws that a creator would be embarassed had he designed us.

Here's another one: wisdom teeth. Most people need to get them removed because our jaws are too small. What purpose do they serve?

Heck, Im still looking for a purpose to flatulence and acne myself. And bad breath. WTF was God thinking about when he intelligently designed those things?
