One is defined as "illegal" by not going through the proper legal channels to be in this country. And No its not racist to want people to obey the laws we have in place.

God - we're making racism out of a game of Scrabble now. What next, Noughts and crosses? How about Chess – where the white side fights the black – and always goes first. FYI The correct way to play scrabble is to choose an 'authority' before the game starts, i.e. a nominated dictionary to be used in the event of a dispute over the validity of a word. If it's in there, then it's legal. Those are the rules.

The illegals and their supporters would come up with some other meaningless or untrue accusation.
I would be impressed if they actually said they were illegal, admitted their onerous ways and we went forward on the truth. The truth is wealthy people who are controling the USA make and enforce the rules. They want these illegals here to do their menial labor, make them more money and so on. To actually make them LEGAL would end one of the supporting aspects of the benefit illegals bring. When and if they start sueing or challenging ...and they will, the folks that want illegals will change the scene on them. Have them removed. Then there will be a new group of people to replace them. If these people become legal, they will have no value to us.
They must work for cheap, not challenge their employers legally, not be of any threat to the wealthy.
If they are made citizens, all that will change.
And the wealthy know it. Better that this situation be left alone, until there is not more cheap work ()or they start getting upitty legally, and I believe they will), nothing will change.

First, I want people entering this country to do so legally. A great many people have, and if some of our laws need changing to match the times, so be it.

Now, question back at you. Believe it or not, hispanics are not the only race entering this country illegally. And no, I don't just mean Arab terrorists either. We get illegal entry by all sorts of different ethnic groups and nationalities.

So if there isn't just a tad bit of racism BY BOTH SIDES on this issue, why is it every time either side talks about illegal immigrants they mean hispanics, hmmm?

I agree, people seem to jump at the suggestion that people shouldn't come here illegally as though it is automatically racist. There are allot of Latino's that are citizens that are dead set against illegals. Are they racist? Many employers use illegal labor to drive down wages which is unfair to those of us who are here legally as citizens. What I want to know is why are the country's that they are coming from offering so little in ways of economic opportunities? That is what needs to be addressed.

I think pro-illegals use more than the word racist when describing antis-lol.

The term illegal immigrant does not point out any particular race , religion, etc.
It means when an outsider intrudes into any country without permission(obviously).

I think illegals can write sentence using the word "illegal" but I don't know if they can use it correctly.

MARRY ME!!!!! You're Smart!!!! I am incapable of loving a dumb girl.

I know SOOO MANY Latino-Americans inscensed by the illegal activity of these drug-soldiers.

Read Richard Sepulveda. A real Latino-American writer with a 'diamond-in-the-rough' yet very powerful command of the English language and you'll see that the racist mentality is NOT sparked by us, but fueled by their own culture. And Mr. Sepulveda does NOT like it!

Okay.

Set a date, honey.

Rio okay with you?

I'm cute, even though I'm 103 years old. But I work out.

If the people only talk about undocumented workers you could have some rigth, but the problem is that the anti-inmigration groups use many racist and xenophobic sentences to their arguments agaist mexicans

Alright I live in a southern state and we are all called racist here...which hurts people like me who have friends and family members in every background.
I think that it is very wrong for people to be that way and say others are like that.
