I kind of do... I just think this allows more people to use it as a reason to hate. I don't think it is fair that I have to pay taxes and they don't but I don't hate all mexicans for it either.

Was talking about illegals not paying taxes not legal Mexicans. I thought that was made clear in the subject.

Btw I'm not mexican thus not being bias toward them just feel sorry for some of the people that have to suffer for others actions. So to tell me to go over and join them just shows how you group them all to gether.

Sorry I didn't mean to offend you by calling them a race of people. I guess I should have said people of mexico.

I do, to a certain degree. It's sad because I lived in San Antonio for three years and met hundreds of Mexican-Americans. They're wonderful people. When they invite you into their home you're treated like family. Without exception every one I met was honest, decent, hard-working, respectful, and thankful to be an American citizen. Check this out -- they were some of the most anti-illegal-immigrant individuals I know, but do you hear anyone calling someone from the Hispanic community who is against illegals a racist? See how many different problems come out of this issue?

First, the Mexicans are not a "race." There are different races in Mexico. Mexicans are a nationality. I do think the illegal immigration has caused negative feelings towards Mexican nationals, because they blatantly have broken the laws of our country, and seem to not understand that we have the right to enforce our laws. Instead, they assert falsehoods, such as we are "racists" or they do the work we won't. The fact is we cannot work as cheaply, because we must pay federal and state income taxes from our gross pay. They assert their "rights" here, when they understand illegal immigrants certainly have no rights in Mexico. Our jails, schools, tax funded medical care, free school meals and other social services are being drained by illegals, and this has caused resentment. Since most US citizens know the immigration laws were reformed in 1986, and the illegals were given amnesty then, there is utter frustration that our government is allowing this problem to escalate as it has, and is calling for more new laws to not enforce.

Many Mexicans that are legal have said that they never really experienced any racism until after the marches.

I never thought anything negative until I lived where the illegals where comming in years ago and started running people out of their neighborhoods. Wouldn't have been an issue if it were a few.....but it was a growing problem that was becomming harder to ignore. These weren't "normal" assimilation issues. These weren't things that went away once you got to know them or "understood" them. In 20 years it hasn't gotten better....it's gotten worse. It's not all of them but it's a big enough number to cause serious problems throughout this country. The icing on the cake was the march. They laid out the proof with their actions and signs and all the things that followed that people were trying to deal with and accomodate and kept feeling lost as to what to do to help.....only to find out there isn't enough to do because there's another agenda under the surface. It wasn't just problems in big cities. It was just as prevelant in small towns. It wasn't just the border states, it was inland. It wasn't because people didn't bend over backwards and try to make them a part of things. It wasn't because my kids didn't play with your kids or that I didn't let the illegal down the street mow my lawn because I felt sorry for them, not because I was too lazy to do it. It's not because I'm rich white, coz I'm poor white. I did the jobs they were doing as well. When all of those things and all the DEMANDS were screamed and all the rest........it was over for me. To this day I still smile and say thank you or open doors and treat them with the respect they deserve for being human and I'm shoved aside and flipped off and glared at. These are things that "amnesty" isn't going to clear-up and they aren't things I'm doing. It's their hateful attitude period.

i do sadly...not all illegal immigration is mexicans alone..from my own personal experience..my father came here illegally because his parents didnt have the money to do it legally...he then got everything straight and legal and then brought my uncles and aunts over..they too have become legal..all work and pay taxes..dont gang bang and do drugs like a lot of people say..my fiance was brought here by his parents when he was three finished school and began working when he was 16..since he was 16 he's had a tax id so that he is able to pay taxes..never been in a gang or anything like that...
Now on the other hand..my uncle was murdered by a mexican..a 17year old drug dealer..this kid was born and raised here..most illegal immigrants I know are grateful to be here and are trying to make a living..

I think it's hilarious how it's funny that you want to say every time that you see a brown person-legal or illegal. There are Mexican-Americans that have had their families here for generations. They are Americans of Mexican descent. Just because they have a spanish surname and know a few words in spanish doesn't make them legal or illegal. Yes, it has definitely.

Its just a question of whose turn it is right now. ( i agree with you by the way). After 9-11 everyone hated the terrorists. In the 1920's everyone hated the Irish & Italians - wher do you think "WOP" came from? A derogatory term against Italians, but it meant simply - without passport.
My husband is Mexican, he is legal now but spent about 5 years here illegally, and always tried to everything right. He works hard, speaks English, pays taxes, and makes donations to worthy causes - can I ask for more?

Yes, clearly it does.
Mexicans are not the worst people in the world to have take over your country without a shot being fired, and in my mind that is what is happening.
Hating anyone is only going to come back and bite you in the butt. Disagreeing and working toward what you bleieve in as just is what America is about. I may be wrong as an Anti but I have the right to be that.
If the illegals and their counter parts take precedence in this situation in some way, I have had time to make arrrangements to accomodate what I need in life and to either leave the USA or go to live in an area that does not tolerate illegalism of any kind, I can do. That's all I really want ...to live in a world that has laws and order, and protects my freedom to live in peace with others without being unfairly compromised.
That is not what is happening currenlty with illegalism in our country now. Time will play out the truth on this. They will do their thing and I will do mine. We will see who lives the better life in the end. I trust in that.

Take your taxes and put them somewhere someone cares. Do you know how many americans accept welfare fraudulently which takes money out of your taxes, how many americans who don't have insurance go through emergency rooms? Stop eating our food if you hate mexicans, or next time when you get sick after eating salsa one of us is going to be standing right outside the bathroom ready to laugh at you.

Yes-I think it has worsened the racism. It is sad that illegal immigrants are blamed when the companies that hire them are supposed to verify they are legal, don't do their job, because they want cheap labor. I do not think it is fair, though, that illegal immigrants get free health care and stuff and we have such a gigantic homeless problem in the US and also citizens who cannot get health care for their children.

It is just very sad all around.

On the hand,I think the race card is played too much in defence of illegals. You have that going on too. I'm against illegals no matter where they come from.
