The clipboard is present on all Microsoft applications from Microsoft office:
i.e.
MS Word
MS PowerPoint
MS Spreadsheet etc
Everytime you copy an item it is inserted in into the clipboard
it automatically appears at the right-hand side of the screen (version office 2003 +) after you copy an item.
The benifits of the clipboard allow you to slect multiple objects to copy and paste.. or select previous objects you copied without the need to travel back to the orriginal source.

Go into the edit menu and click on office clipboard. This will bring up your clip board on the right side of your screen.
or
First highlight some text then press the copy tool bar twice.
