do you already have a charity in mind to raise money for? Many of the larger charities in the UK will have fundraising packs they can send you which will offer loads of ideas. It's a good idea to get in touch with the charity you want to raise money for first before setting out to do anything, they might be able to offer you collection boxes and advertise your activities etc. It'll also give your activities a bit more credibility if you've got the charities logo on things. It might also help you think of appropriate activities which will not only raise money for a good cause but raise awareness of a specific issue. So for example, on World Aids Day we all wore red at my work place, we collected money and when people came in and said why is everyone wearing red we could tell them about World Aids Day (the significance of red being the symbol for the day is a red ribbon).
Anyway, Some ideas of ways to raise money include:
sponsored walks, runs, swims etc; cake bakes; raffles; dress down or fancy dress day at work

An idea I had many years ago, but have never put into practise, was a football (soccer) match on a triangular pitch. You would have three teams playing with three goals, each team playing against the other at the same time. Plenty of fun and confusion and if properly organised, I'm sure would raise quite a bit of money for charity.

look on the bhf.for running ,bike rides.london to brigthon bike rides ,and bike events and there is more look around the websites good luck .i am doing a few bike rides this year.the children trust .com.uk.they have two good bike rides.the wheels of steel and London to Canterbury .very hard ride .that if you like bikes

Check out Kiwanis Clubs on line. There should be one in your area, and you can go have a meal with them at their meeting time, and see what they're doing!
