The Mayans of ancient mexico. My history may be off by a few years but they weren't introduced to christianity until around the 1500's by spain (who ended up murdering the mayans, spreading disease and stealing all their gold).

Now for hundreds of years and many generations, the mayans worshiped THEIR gods and followed their rituals. The idea of christianity was a crazy idea to them and human sacrafice was normal to them.

QUESTION:
Did god create 1,500 years worth of Myan men, women and children, just so that he could send them to hell for commiting human sacrafice?

They didn't have access to christianity for 1,500 YEARS!!! So were they judged by their works? Their "works" consisted of human sacrafice and blood rituals which were normal for their society.

Would god send millions of these people to an eternity in hell for practicing normal standards?

spirt walker: you missed the point. Replace the mayans with American indians. The weren't introduced to christianity untile the 1400's. Did god send them to hell??? You can't be that stupid that you would throw out the entire premise of my question because i got a date or figure wrong.

First of all God doesn't send people to hell -- people send themselves.

What the Mayans did was wrong. What Spain did was wrong also, if your history is correct (I'm not very knowledgable on that subject). All I know is that wrongdoing must be punished. It MUST be, or else there is no justice. If God is just, which He is, then one way or another He requires punishment for what the Mayans did. Whether God allowed their punishment to fall on Christ because the Mayans didn't know any better, or whether the Mayans themselves are paying, I don't know. I just know that God is just in everything.

actually your history is little mixxed up and biased.

there have been many cultures in south america who looked for a white bearded man to return, even so they mistook the early spanish people. Even TODAY, i have heard the testimony of white indians, and the express testimony of a tribe who met a historian when he got off his bus as they searched his hands and feet for nail marks and scars.
before the religions of head hunters existed, there were 2 societies that achieved perfection and righteousness, and were as close to living the society of God on earth that they might have been righteous enough to attain ascension and translation.
so i beg you to look at history again, before the canibals and the human sacrifices existed there was a religous people that knew of the Gospel of christ.

be not so biased in your beliefs to reject the truth and to teach false beliefs. Even if they are sincere.

According to the Bible, all mankind knew about the truth of God, but perverted that truth.
So the Gods of the Romans, Greeks, Mayans, Aztecs, etc. were perverted versions of the original knowledge that these people had of God.
Will God send them to hell? There is a place mentioned in the OT called Sheol, where everyone went when they died. I imagine they will be given a chance in the end.

Your entire premis is skewed. I suggest you do far more research before you post questions like this. A good place for a neophite, such as yourself, to start would the the Time/Life video "MAYA." Well researched, well documented. Then come back and post a question that would have meaning. YBIC
