I have been talking to a guy online whom I see to have so much in common with. I am not on the same level with him ecomomically or career wise and he is a 14 years older than me but we seem to have similiar personalities. After reading his profile I see the similarities in what we want and our preferring small groups and not being party people. He says he is shy till he gets to know a person, and I am the same way. We chatted a few times and now he hasn't written. I checked and found that he has changed his profile to limit his search to his town (which is rather small and doesn't have much for singles, as he stated at the beginning of his profile). He is only 30 miles from me but not willing to date anyone who lives very far. The funny thing is that he has set his limits for meeting to some restaruants which happen to be only 5 blocks from where I live and work. I would be willing to walk the 5 blocks to meet him if it is an issue to drive the extra 5 blocks.

I told him he should be more open to meeting as I myself used to limit myself to my area but have learned that being more open increases your chances of meeting someone. Actually I contacted him first and just few months ago I wouldln't have considered someone over 10 miles away so why can't he be more open?
