Tell your ex, he is your ex for a reason. Tell your boyfriend, he is your boyfriend for a reason. The ex needs to keep his distance, and his mouth away. Then, if they still want to fight, let them. Maybe they will both go to jail.

Okay, I can probably understand why your ex wants to fight. God knows how long you two went out for, but if it was more than 3 months or so, then maybe he has strong feelings for you and can't let go. However, your new boyfriend, I don't know... If he is fairly recent and he is this violent and competitive over you right now, then I would worry how much more violent and jealous he will be after a few more months you and him are still together. I know it's a good feeling when two guys want you, but there should be no fighting!
Can't we all just get along?
Good Luck !!

I need you to take a deep breath, clear your head and be honest with yourself....Are you instigating the fights? Believe it or not situations like this can get way out of hand. This is how people get hurt or even killed. You need to sever the ties between you, your b/f and your ex. My suggestion? If you care enough about your current b/f, then you should really stop talking to your Ex, because your current b/f obviously doesn't care for him too much and it's causing problems for both of them to co-exist.

Well Brittany,
YOU don't do anything. You see it only appears it is about you. It is really about male territorial dominance. It has much more to do with male pride and ego than it has to do with the actual trophy.
If you really want help I suggest you stop going for the whole fighting and being a baddass kind of schmucks. (Many think it's cool but it really is just a symptom of insecurity) Go for some real guys that don't feel the need to pee on every tree.

tell these guys to grow up and get over themselves!!! they are acting ridiculous like 4 year olds. tell them to quit. if they still wanna fight move on... you don't need that kinda drama in your life. if your current boyfriend likes you enough and cares about you enough then he will consider how you feel about this and not fight.

some guys just like fighting, i don't think there is much you can do to change their minds. its one thing to be protective and another to be jealous, be careful of those type, i can see him getting all controlling later on if he wont listen to you now and is prone to violence, is not a good mix. they are prop both insecure

Tell them that they're both idiots and you'll want nothing to do with either one of them if they continue to act like this. Contrary to popular belief, fighting really isn't cool.
