I know what i need to do but i am scared i don't know why. My boyfriend hits me and everytime i leave him he tells me he's changed and i ALWAYS fall for it. I know he will never change but why do i believe him everytime? HELP!!!

Because you are not smart. Im sorry.. But thats the truth.. Somewhere in that thick head, you have convinced yourself that Maybe..just maybe he will change, maybe it was your fault. How old are you? You a teen? a kid? Tell your parents, or someone you trust.. And believe me.. Someone will knock some sense into him.. Let the jerk know..that if he ever lays a hand to hit you again, that he will be charged with abuse. I bet he has convinced you that NO ONE can love you like him..that if you leave him, then you will always be alone..and all that junk.. Leave the jerk, you dont need this crap from a guy, there are plenty of nice guys out there..

okay well i dont know how many times he has hit you before or any of the details... but it sounds as if he has done it several times...i know it is hard to walk away form someone, ecspecially when you have been together for a long time...but believe me, once you end it. It gets better and you will realize that you can do way better than him...i also think that you should go to the police.. END IT WITH HIM....ecspecially because you have alredy given him another chance

by the way, HELLOO, u r in america...men don't have any power over women, so DO NOT put ur self down like u need him........... boys need to be loved more than girls that's why every time he comes after u and does not want u to leave. take advantage of it and make him the way u want and leave him for once till he gets he really needs to change......

You go back because i am guessing you love him or you are INCREDIBLY insecure about yourself--thinking that you can't get anyone better.
Let me tell you nether of these thought patterns are healthy or true.
You are worth so much more than that.

because you keep on falling in his cycle.. sweety you need to call the police make a report take picture of yourself when he hits you with out him knowing. if you can get a tape recorder and record him when he's yelling at you and beatting you up... trust me once he's out of you life, you will know all you've been missing. and hopefully find true love...

the reason why is because you love him and you think that u cant be with out him. but trust me the best thing to do is let him go....i mean at least try being with out him for a least 6months to see what happened since he know that every time he hits you, you come back to he keeps on doing it....LET HIM GO....trust me you'll find some one BETTER for sure!!!!

Please, I'm not sure how old you are, but you should NEVER allow someone to put their hands on you. Please speak with a parent (if you are under 21). I'm afraid that if you tell him you are leaving, it will be a very bad situation. Get some help and support from friends and family first. Leave him.
