If you can't get someone out of your head, maybe they're supposed to be there. =]

Let's see, let's see here... Okay, dating other people can make it better if it's a good match, but also worse if it's a bad one. Drinking and drugs don't help and it tends to empty your head of things you want to keep. Picking up strangers in bars leaves you feeling empty and alone the next morning.

The truth is that you never get some people totally out of your head, but over time their memory gets easier to live with. I think what works for me best is to simply replace what I really miss from lost lovers... their friendship. Nothing soothes the hurt like having good times with new friends. When they can relate to what you're feeling, it helps even more.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, there is no way to completely and utterly forget a person. If you haven't seen "The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" I suggest watching it. I think everybody has felt like "erasing" somebody at least once in their lives! Eventually you learn that even the bad memories have taught you something and were a part of your life for a reason.

As the old adage goes - in with the new, out with the old. Seriously, short of severe head injury, you will never be totally through with them. However, hundreds of new memories on top of the old tend to keep the "pop-ups" to a minimum. Get on with your life, and your life will start to erase them.

Its not easy. It depends on the level of your relationship. If you were only friends, more than friends, lovers or married, it just gets more complicated. The only way to get rid of the memories, is to replace them with something else...not saying another relationship, but a hobby, hanging out with your friends, working out, etc. Remind yourself its over, don't dwell on the past, get rid of reminders of them, etc. In a sense, clean the house and replace with new stuff...move, if you have to. Good luck! It hurts.

You get someone out of your head by putting someone new and better in your head. It's the only true way I've found. I've done the booze thing (I don't drink) and it only delays but never gets rid of the problem.

Go out and look into someone new, it could be a head rush for you.

I'm not sure of way to get a person out of your mind easily. I've had people get under my skin badly and it took me awhile to stop thinking about them, but it finally will happen. You might want to do something that you enjoy that occupies your mind and try to keep busy. For example, play video games or read a book. Hope this helps.

Forget him - Always put a man out of your mind. Men like to be ignored a little anyway.
First, why think about him? Secondly, he will wonder why you dont think of him which will
make him want you more. Men love to chase and seduce. Its their nature. They like to see if
they can wrap you around their finger. The way to win: Put men out of your mind. Go about
your business and your life. Remember the best way to get him---is to forget him!

its, easy , you just need to find people that really care for you. how about your friends. hang out with them, go out and have fun, go to a club abd dance with people and have a good time. try not to think about the past and disconect from that past in every way, i mean like phone numbers, pictures anything.

well there are lots of negative ways to do it like drugs and alcohol but i dont reccommend that. try to find something new that makes you happy, find a new hobby or something that you can focus a lot of time and energy into, it will help you to not think about someone who has probably hurt you and eventually it will just be the norm to not think of that person anymore
