my project circuitry needs 2N2222 Transistor at several places. pls give me solution to check it before soldering.

can it be checked using multimeter.

You can do a basic check on it like this:

2N2222's are NPN

If you need something for pin identification here's the data sheet:

Also, there's a little test circuit you can build for it for a better test, but you'll need an o-scope. I suppose if you don't have a transistor checker at your disposal, you probably don't have an o-scope floating around either ;-)
