well i have been dating this guy for about 10 months and we like hang out every chance we get too. but no he tells me that he always has to work late or some **** like that. and i am starting to think that he is cheating on me or something. i wanna believe him when he tells me that he is but then again i thnk something is up!!!! please help me!!!

Where does he work? Just b/c a guy says he has to work late doesn't mean he's cheating sweetie! Are there other signs? Also some of the other people have said to call his work - I don't see anything wrong with that, just pretend you have to ask him something or call and ask for him and then hang up! Does he call you when he gets off work? My bf (though I have suspected him sometimes too) works late sometimes, til 11 or midnight b/c he works at a restaurant, but he always calls me throughout his shift and after he gets off work, and often comes over after. could you and your man do something like that - where he calls you and comes over after?

I have to work late from time to time and so does my wife, but we don't suspect one another of cheating because our lives at home remain the same.
The guilt of cheating can cause people (male or female) to avoid their significant others to avoid physical contact between one another, stop contributing to conversations, and other telltale signs.
Keep an eye on your man, but don't ignore the possibility that there could be innocent explanations for some behavior.
PS: If what you've said is every reason you have to suspect, then I don't think you have anything to worry about.

If you really think this, then it is probably happening....from all my past experiences, when I was worried something was going on and my boyfriend would start being a little distant, no matter what lame excuse he usues...there is something wrong!....Go with your gut, girl!! Get a real man

-He takes calls out of the room
-Suspicious smells on him when he comes home
-Often unreachable on phone
-You catch him lying
-Closes screen on PC when you come into room
-Never at the place he says he's going to be at
-Other women calling house, or his phone / emailing

give him the benefit of the doubt....but then again dont be dumb and believe everything he says....just stay on your toes and if he is cheating you will catch him cause guys are dumb and almost always get caught
