Double Chocolate Pie


INGREDIENTS
1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1/3 cup cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups milk
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, chopped
4 egg yolks, beaten
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
Combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a 2-quart saucepan. Stir in milk gradually. Add chocolate chips and unsweetened chocolate. Place over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute.
Place egg yolks in a medium heatproof bowl. Gradually pour half of chocolate mixture into egg yolks, whisking constantly.
Whisk egg yolk mixture back into mixture in saucepan. Place over medium heat and bring back to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla extract.
Pour mixture into baked pie shell. Press a layer of plastic wrap onto filling. Refrigerate at least 4 hours but no longer than 48 hours. Remove plastic wrap before serving and top with whipped topping.

EggNog Kahlùa Pie

Servings: Makes one (9-inch) pie
Prep Time: 20
Cook Time: 0
Total Time: 0

Ingredients
1 (9-inch) baked pie crust
1 (6-serving size package) vanilla flavored pudding mix (NOT instant)
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 1/2 cups BORDEN EggNog
2 to 3 tablespoons Kahlùa® Liqueur
2 cups (1 pint) whipped cream
Additional ground nutmeg

Instructions
In medium saucepan, combine pudding mix, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and BORDEN® EggNog; mix well.
Over medium heat, cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Remove from heat; stir in liqueur (mixture will be very thick).
Cool or chill thoroughly. Beat until smooth. Fold in whipped cream. Spoon into prepared crust. Garnish with additional nutmeg. Chill 4 hours or until set. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.

Notes: Microwave: In 2 quart glass measure with handle, combine pudding mix, nutmeg and BORDEN® EggNog; mix well. Cook on HIGH (100% power) 5 to 8 minutes or until thickened and bubbly, stirring every 1-1/2 minutes. Proceed as above

store bought grahm cracker crust
large box chocolate pudding(serves6)
2 cups milk
8oz cool whip

mix milk and pudding until thick, spread half into the pie plate, fold half the cool whip with the remaining pudding and spread on top , then top with the last half of the cool whip. refidgerate 4-6 hours.

You can use fat free and sugar free ingredients and it is a great low cal dessert and it tastes great!

I have two one is fudge ,cholt. and the other is marshmallow Custer. they are both to die for.
