So, yesterday this college that i REALLY want to get into called my house. They want to do a face to face interview next week Tuesday. What should i do to prepare? What kind of questions will be asked? He told me to dress informally, but should i conduct myself formally or informally? I'll take any advice that i can get. Thanks guys!

First, even though he told you to dress informally. I wouldn't go totally casual - no jeans, t-shirts. Remember, your appearance is part of the impression you give. Maybe a nice button down shirt, or polo shirt and khakis.
Next, the interviewer wants to see that you really do want to go to their school. They want to see that you are looking to succeed, and not a slacker. My interviews were so long ago that I don't even remember them. They'll ask you about your extra-curricular activities, why you chose your major. There are no questions that I needed to have an answer prepared for, it's all very casual, just talking about yourself. Don't try to suck up, just be real. It's having a convo with someone you don't know very well, talking about yourself.
Also, I found that a real clincher in one of my interviews was that I was part of my HS newspaper. When asked if I would want to continue, and join their newspaper staff, I said yes. They want to see that you will be an asset to their school. I never actually joined after I got too college, got too busy with coursework. But basically, they want to see that the school can be beneficial to you, and you can be beneficial to the school as well.

i do no longer think of denims are suited to a school interview enormously if it quite is the college you quite need to circulate to. i could circulate with a advantageous skirt and shirt that shows your character yet no longer over the suitable. that's some the place interior the middle of being casual and dressy.

This process varies from college to college. Here are some helpful tips:

Personally, I found just being myself and relaxing made all the difference. They aren't trying to find out if you are good enough, that's what the entrance exams and national testing scores are for - they are trying to determine if you are a fit for the environment and if you will be happy there.
