I have long straight hair. I blow dry it in the morning, but it falls flat by the end of the day. How can I keep volume in my hair?

Use a root lifter- Paul Mitchell makes one that I love. Or you can try spraying your roots with hairspray or applying some mousse and then blow drying your hair upside down. (trust me.. the discomfort is worth it.) At least dry your roots upside down. After you style your hair, use hairspray. If your roots tend to get oily, shampoo them, but keep the conditioner to your ends- that will add a little extra oomph, too. Hands off, too- playing with your hair during the day pulls it downward, and you loose your volume. Good luck!
