Do you think a lot of this comes down to an oppertunist enviroment with many people who are against it not having been in these situations. Do you believe that certian industries attract it? ie. Armed Forces, nurses, police, entertainment industry, tourism......

Pretty broad question Andy. I can say that of the people in my circle of friends and family none have had an affair. Well, except for me that is. Worst thing I ever did and I will regret it to my grave... Anyway.. Besides me no one else has come to light as an adulterer. If you have a busy circle of adulterous people, I would suspect that maybe environment may have something to do with it.

Not as you may suspect environment would though. Affairs are a symptom of an emotional void. The "cheater" is reaching out to fill a void they don't know how to deal with. So I don't think the environment would add opportunity worries so much as I think the environment is tailored to produce emotional stress. Some of the careers you mentioned are tough ones that take people away from home for long periods and bad hours. Add that to the stress of being a cop, doctor, nurse, or entertainer, and there would seem to be a recipe for emotional hardship. If not adultery it could produce some other form of dysfunction. Drugs, gambling, booze, or any other coping mechanism behavior..Make Sense?

Well Andy I do not partake in any activities outside my relationship as I couldn't life with the guilt and do not personally believe that 5 minutes pleasure is worth a lifetime of knowing that I hurt the one that I love. But you are correct in stating that a lot of times these affairs begin due to circumstances and the fact that a lot of these people spend more time together then some couples. Sad that it occurs as often as it does and breaks down so many couples.

I dont beleive its most effective Americans. Many cultures do the identical. Although it's viewed ultimate to save lots of intercourse for marriage reviews have converted on that and its not appeared down upon via such a lot. But while you turn out to be married there's such a lot of cause you don't sleep round. You have made a promise in entrance of and to God, your partner, household and peers, and the regulation that that is your companion in lifestyles and infidelity isn't appropriate in any of the ones senses.

In my first marriage, I cheated all the time after I realized that I was not in love with the first wife. (married for the wrong reason).
Now I have a new wife and a new life. I now know what it feel like to be in love. My 2nd wife bring tears of joy to my heart.
I have no desire to sleep with another woman because I am afraid to lose the sweet God given love that I have.
I have a real purpose for living. Thank God for everything.

I believe it to be a short term deception and preverted way to be an adventurist. It is nothing but greediness, vanity, a supreme twist on proper desires. That said, so are many of the other sins. All of which are forgivable. Have a great day.

Personally I think pop culture fueled by the media encourage it. A type of "live now and worry about the consequences later". Usually the joy is short lived and not worth the consequence but they forget to tell these budding souls that part.

Tourism definitely attracts it. It's the booze and drugs that go with the industry. When you are drunk and drugged and the world is a non-stop party, your decision making skills won't be at their best.

I think that just our whole society attracts it. Constantly we see casual sex, and affairs in the media. Young kids see this and it just becomes thier norm. Minds are impressionable, always able to be molded and if they are not taught to be strong and believe in themselves they will believe everything that is fed to them.
