I have found a wonderful new boyfriend who treats me like a queen. He is everything that I have ever wanted in a man except for one thing...sexual attraction. It's definately not that he is unattractive or smells or anything bad like that. It's not that I cannot get into it with my new boyfriend but I just do not feel the same spark and excitement.

My last relationship seems to have ruined me. It lasted a year and I experienced the best sexual relationship ever with this man. He was a complete turn on with everything from a simple touch to the more in depth. Unfortunately, he lacked in every other aspect of the relationship.

Has anyone else experienced anything similiar to this? I want my new relationship to move forward but I'm not sure what to do!

You can't have great sex without trust, care and other things that only come with a more experienced relationship.

Relax and take it slow. Let your man get to know the real you and make sure you stay open to him as well. When the two of you become more secure with one another, great sex will follow.

People tend to think sex is easy, but there's a lot of work that goes into building a healthy sex life -- and it starts with a better relationship.

Yes, almost the same exact situation. Sad to say, you cannot fake sexual attraction especially to yourself. Eventually, you will feel that you have settled.
On the other hand, it seems that all long term relationships become less sexual as time goes on. Familiarity isn't all that exciting.

See what the future brings - it may make it more clear what needs to be done.

If he's not cutting it in the bedroom teach him some techniques to better your sexual relationship. There is nothing wrong with telling him how you like it. Just be gradual about it, not all at once. Get him to learn those same things your ex used to do and I bet the sparks fly!

Well, if there's anything he can do to improve your opinion of him, like working out or losing weight, you might want to nudge him into it. Apart from that . . . just focus on what you do like about him. Surely there's something about his body that turns you on! Just focus on that. Good luck!
