Mozilla Thunderbird?

I lost all my email and files on mozilla thunderbird when adjusting the settings on this program. Now I cannot get Mozilla Thunderbird to open at all. Any ideas on how to get the program working again?

Good luck, profiles on Firefox, and Thunderbird,
tend to mess up easy.
