Who do u think the next UFC heavyweight champ will be? I dont like Sylvia, hes not a good champ in my opinion, Arlovski was a much better champ!
And who do u think will be the next one to seriously challenge Chuck Liddell. It may have been forrest griffin if he would have beaten Jardine. Mike Bisping??

Mirko "Cro Cop" will be the Heavyweight Champ soon enough, and the only person I see with the potential to take out Chuck Liddell is Michael "The Count" Bisping, he conquered Europe retaining an undefeated record and has yet to face a competitor on his level, until we see him up against a Top 10 opponent there is no way to count him out or say he can beat chuck, only the future will tell but as Chuck gets older Bisping gets better and I definatly see Chuck passing on the tourch to Bisping in a few years.

Sylvia simply fights to retain his belt. Did you see his last two title defenses. Utter crap. He merely fended off Arlovski (who was injured) and Monson (who isn't champion material) and they were two of the worst PPV buys I've made. That being said, I was thinking that Brandon Vera would be the next champ, but he might not resign with the UFC. If he does, and gets a title shot before CroCop, then Vera should take the belt from Sylvia. Regardless of who has it, CroCop will take the belt from the reigning champion. I've heard that after he does that, he'll drop to 205 to challenge the Iceman. That will be a fight for the ages! Of the fighters in the 205 division, I'd give Rampage Jackson and Michael Bisping the best chances of beating Lidell. Griffin isn't sharp enough and Jardine drops his hands every time he leg kicks. Chuck would absorb the kick and TKO the Dean of Mean with an overhand right. Rampage and Bisping are in the mold of Chuck and would give him the most trouble.

Definitely Cro Cop will be the next heavyweight champ, and if we're lucky he'll drop down to 205 and take on Chuck and beat him also. Trust me he will. Other than Mirko there is nobody in the UFC gonna beat Chuck. There are a lot of GREAT fighters from Pride making their way over to the UFC. There are prolly at least two or three more heavyweights from Pride that would dominate the UFC heavyweight division, in addition to Cro Cop. The only heavyweight in the UFC that has a chance to beat any of them is Arlovski now that he is healthy and is regaining his confidence.

My predictions for this year!!!

Mirko Cro Cop Filopovic to beat Tim The Mainiac Silva by KO, shin to the face if he can get his leg that high.

Chuck Liddell to avenge his lose against Quinten Rampage Jackson, Either KO or Referee stoppage. Chuck has Avenged all his other loses and this is his last one he needs to do, he won't be prepared to lose his title before this happens.
I don't think that any of the TUF guys have the talent at the moment, they still need to be built up with smaller fights.
Look what happened to Nate Quarry when he fought Rich Franklin. He got ruined, well out of his league.
Don't get me wrong I think Mikey B will be the finest ambassordor for the UK and do us proud, but "slowly slowly, catches monkeys!" and all that.
Look at Diego Sanchez, I think he is being over looked by a lot of people, as a force to be reckoned with at his weight.

Who can seriously Challenge Chuck??????

Cro Cop definitly if he cuts to 205lb, but that won't be for a while the UFC have bought him in to spice up the heavyweight division.
Wanderlai Silva maybe if he signed to UFC.

I particular desire no longer. in spite of the undeniable fact that he's enormous adequate, he's no longer effectual adequate consisting of his strikes. Kicks are very annoying and may do damage ( ask Rampage) yet he's basically no longer a monster like each of the adult men reported by way of "helpful Dude'. He has more effective fights at 205 yet he shouldn't positioned on the belt lower back. he's an staggering ambassador 4 the UFC and MMA often yet he wa extremely uncovered by way of Machida and Silva so i think there's no call in his destiny. i think an identical way about Evans too. Forrest Griffin is a gate keeper at 205, very like Jardine has been. Forrest is in spite of the undeniable fact that a million fighter that U could by no ability count number out. he's the small dogs contained in the wrestle that doesn't comprehend he's not meant to be struggling with those improved, fiercer dogs. a lot recognize to Griffin yet he's a gate keeper and by no ability some thing else contained in the UFC. having him wrestle for Strikeforce might want to be like seeing Derek Jeter play for yet another team...it basically doesn't in fantastic condition, ya comprehend. I say a wrestle with Thiago Silva has gotta take position, it really is sensible for both fighters. If Forrest can beat Silva then a shot he receives. he received't win yet he receives yet another call shot.

Crocop for HW Champ, It would good to see him and Arlovski match up and Couture is on about a return but to Heavyweight against Sylvia.
Liddel for LHW for a good few years yet, IMHO Rampage has no chance not even against Tito let alone against Liddel, Liddel has changed so much since their last meeting (look it up on you tube)
Liddel is King but would have liked to have seen Griffin get it!

everybody is leaving out a serious contender who can grapple, wrestle and has good striking ability, RASHAD EVANS! he gets better with every fight and has awesome potential. in time, he will run through the whole light heavyweight division and challenge chuck for the title, i don't see anyone beating him right now(besides chuck), rashad is a complete package at 205, and tim sylvia is a piece of crap, he sucks, he does just enough to win a decision, and the UFC's heavyweight division doesn't have much depth, i'm happy Cro Cop is here to beat the dogcrap out of sylvia, KO by a kick to the head .

I am not a fan of Sylvia myself, Arlovski is the king!! His style is more or less flawless, he is the most explosive fighter in ufc history in my opinion. I am not sure if there is anyone out there who can actually take Chucks belt, I doubt he is going to let it happen anytime soon anyway, his strength is amazing, so I really don't think anyone has the ability to take him on and win.

Cro Cop will be the next heavy weight champ. Personally, NONE of the TUF winners can take Chuck's belt anytime soon. Wandelai would be a massive battle for PPV.....

sylvia is a MONSTER, and he trains and fights incredibly hard. you just gotta give it to him. it's not EASY being that big. as much of an advantage as it seems, you gotta remember that all of his limbs weigh more, and he poses a much bigger target.

anyway, i don't think there are many people capable ot taking down liddell. he's just too crazy and tough. but when someone does step up, you can count on all eyes being there.
