my son wet the bed until he was 10...we took him to specialists, they all said to have a cut-off time at nite for no more liquids...he will grow out of it...if you make a big deal out of it, it will make him feel worse...i just put plastic and pads on his bed, so he could change it himself...if he can control THAT part, it will help his confidence enough to control the wetting problem

Trust me, I know the feeling. My two boys had this same problem. They merely slept too soundly to be awakened. The main thing is - don't make them feel like a lesser person because of it. Don't make a big deal. Just get a good quality plastic mattress cover that can be wiped down each time with a Clorox disinfecting wipe, and teach the child to take their sheets and take them to the washing machine. If they do the sheet changing themselves, they eventually realize it's not a party. I cannot overemphasize the importance of not making them feel bad and not punishing them for something they cannot control. They will get it together eventually and be perfectly normal.

You either get that famous Nose Drops which will stop it in a week's time....Sorry I forgot it's name.....

OR

You simply take him to the rest room just before he goes to bed, and after an hour-an hour & ahalf from the moment he gets asleep, and I promise you he will either develope a habit of it, or will stop wetting his bed within a Month or so.

I have gone through both solutions with Two of my kids...

Make sure the child goes to the bathroom befor bed and don' let them drink anything before bed. Try big kid diapers so he if he has an accident it's contained. He is still getting used to controlling his bladder. I am sure he feels low self esteem, encourage him and it will be fine.

This is a question that needs to be asked to your son's doctor, not a bunch of strangers!
Take the boy to your doctor and tell him what's going on. Doesn't that make more sense than coming in here?

you could stop your child from drinking any liquids about an hour from bedtime, get your child use to waking up at a certain time to see if he/ she has to go, or you could make him/ her use the bathroom before bedtime so they could have their bladder flushed before bed.

Try waking him up at different hours of the night to find out when it is he has to go and hasn't already. When you know what time it is that he has to go, wake him up for about a week or 2 until he gets into a routine of waking at that time. That is what I did for myself and for my son who was a bed wetter too. Never scold or blame him either, it isn't his fault.
