Yes, we are living in the last days. The apostle Paul tells us that “in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here,” and adds:
“Men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God.”
Paul then tells us to turn away from such. (2 Tim. 3:1-5) Do we not see this lack of real love, this “self first” attitude accentuated throughout the world today? It contributes greatly to the critical problems of the times.
Jesus foretold that most people would ignore the evidence that we are living in the last days. The destruction of the wicked will come suddenly and unexpectedly. Like a thief in the night, it will catch most people by surprise. (1 Thessalonians 5:2) Jesus warned: “As the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be.”—Matthew 24:37-39
Jesus told his listeners: “Pay attention to yourselves that your hearts never become weighed down with overeating and heavy drinking and anxieties of life, and suddenly that day be instantly upon you as a snare. For it will come in upon all those dwelling upon the face of all the earth. Keep awake, then, all the time making supplication that you may succeed in escaping all these things that are destined to occur, and in standing [with approval] before the Son of man.” (Luke 21:34-36) It is wise to take Jesus’ words to heart. Why? Because those having the approval of Jehovah God and “the Son of man,” Jesus Christ, have the prospect of surviving the end of Satan’s system of things and of living forever in the marvelous new world that is so close at hand!—John 3:16; 2 Peter 3:13.
Do not be deceived by this world’s propaganda that promises a bright tomorrow for this system. God promises its end. Whom are you going to believe? For your everlasting happiness listen, learn and then do what God requires of you, for “the world is passing away and so is its desire, but he that does the will of God remains forever.”—1 John 2:17.

We don't know the end is near. People have been saying that since 700 AD. Do you know how many "firm dates" religious prophets have said would be the end that have come and gone.
If Jesus comes riding in on a horse in this day and age of autos and tanks and F-16s it won't be much of a war. In 300-400 years our oil runs out and we may be back to riding horses, then it would make more sense.
300-400 years of more hydrocarbons (you own a car, I don't, haven't in 30 years) in the air and they sky could be very dark and gloomy.
With all that oil out of the ground we may have lots of caveins and EArth tremmors. It may even set off some volcanoes.
Also with all that global warming Las Vegas could be on the shores of the Pacific and Columbus Ohio on the shores of the Atlantic.
But that ins't today, that's in 300-400 years and even then we might survive and have a re-birth of the world, only with some diffent geograophical elements.

yes the end is near.
but are you sure you are not the ones that are bundled up into sheaves and cast into the fire.?
I just read about how most of the people of the eart will be destroyed. and the resurrection will happen after all things are destroyed, not before.
So there may not be a rapture, and there may not be ONE Soul on the planet that can be saved because they believe in a lie or follow idolatry.
so again i ask: ARE YOU SURE?

Wow..... that's certainly a wall of textual content fabric! i'm unable to verify a wall that has no discernible paragraphs to split suggestions and matters..... so, with out examining your wall of textual content fabric, i will in simple terms attempt to respond to your question: on account that Christ has yet to reign in His thousand 365 days reign of peace, i could say that no, the tip of the international isn't close to. whether, "the international", as all of us know it right here interior the U. S., replaced into surely replaced constantly over 10 years in the past, with an afternoon of treason perpetrated with the aid of the yankee government on their very own human beings, so as to sway public opinion in prefer of war, which makes many men rich on the value of the lives of others. That day? Sept. 11, 2001..... and the ripple result continues to be in action. Socialists are taking on this united states of america. Democrats, Republicans.... no remember. All are in simple terms as to blame.

There will also be those who think that they are "saved" who will be "lost". Believing is NOT ENOUGH! GOD expects actions to take place as well. That is why HE sent HIS SON then the APOSTLES afterwards to spread the GOOD NEWS and write it down for our reading, study, and obedience.
To become a real Christian, we are told that we must HEAR the WORD in John 6:45, Jesus said, “It is written in the prophets, And they shall all be taught by God. Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.” We are also told so in Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. We are told the we must BELIEVE in Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. We are also told so in Mark 16:16, Jesus said “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” and in John 5:24 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. We are told that we must REPENT (or turn from sin) in Luke 13:3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Also in Acts 17:30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent. We are told to CONFESS CHRIST in Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. We are also told in 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. We are to be BAPTIZED according to Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” and Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. We are to CONTINUE to be FAITHFUL UNTIL DEATH according to Revelation 2:10c Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. We also know that Paul wrote in Romans 14:12 each of us shall give account of himself to God. It is important that we not ignore what is written, change what is written, or add to what is written in the New Testament which is our Christian Guide. Have a great week.
