It was confirmed today by MMA Weekly that Wanderlai Silva's US debut will be against Dan Henderson. Henderson has the opportunity to become the first ever to hold two belts in different weight classes, as the fight will be at 205 lbs. Can he do it? Who would you have rather seen Wandi/Henderson fight? I personally would have rather seen Wandi/Rogiero Nogiera and Henderson/Arona, but I understand the match from a marketing perspective.

I would of rather seen Silva fight Noguiera, becuase I've already seen the first Silva v. Henderson fight and think it will go the same, Silva wins decision. I would like to see a Henderson V. Rua fight, that be great.

definitely don't count out Henderson he is a tough fighter and he is very capable of winning any fight.

I think there are a lot of reasons why they chose Henderson. More then anything Pride wants that fight to be exciting. If they put Wanderlei against Nog or Arona theres a chance that either of those guys will just try to put to keep the fight on the ground the whole time, and while theres nothing wrong with that its not the most exciting thing to see your premier striker getting taken down or defending takedowns all night.

That being said they couldn't give him a cup cake fight either, so i think thats why they picked Henderson. Hes a world class fighter and he will bang with you.

yeah this is kind of like Liddell vs. Ortiz 2, you know it will be a decent fight but you also know what the outcome will be.

Maybe Henderson could throw a new strategy out there. Silve isn't very good standing up except for his knees, so maybe he can exploit that.

I agree with you, Henderson will be clearly out classed and Silva will dominate him from start to finish.

Don't count out Hollywood, while he is the underdog I honestly hope to see him make history!
