Maybe his new girlfriend dumped him and he wants to get back in your pants. I hope not but men can be sneaky.

I think that after time has passed you begin to forget all the negative things in the relationship. As more time passes it seems as though the only memories you have of that person is when something reminds you of them and it triggers a good memory. Eventually you realize that at the time the two of you were together you taught each other important things in life, even if it was knowing what you don't want. Once the pain is gone and bad times forgotten... the only thing that is left are the good memories and positive affects they had on your life.

After a break up, one or both parties involved, will be resentful. There's only so long that can go on, before the resentment seems ignorant, and they realize that they shouldn't let a failed relationship alter their view of you.
He's probably just tired of being standoffish.

men do that when they think your happy, after i got with my boyfriend i had 3 exs bother me who normally wont care, one i told to leave me alone, another wanted to brag he got another girl pregnate like i cared and another called me drunk. this all happened with in the first 4 month of my new realtionship, ignore it be happy you dont need the past haunting you

maybe he wants something from you. like to be able to still be with you intimately. or if not, just ask him why the drastic attitude change.
