You come up with the strangest questions...

I want my kids to go to school so they can get a decent education and then decent jobs when they adults. I want them to be self-suffcient and to lead good lives as adults and that simply isn't very likely without an education.

Some moms truly do want their kids out of the house.

I could name ones that have their kids at school at 730am, straight from school to activities, which last as late as 830pm, and then dump the kids at someone else's house for that last hour before bedtime if they can get away with it.

I personally am excited for my son to go to school because I know he's going to love it. And I'm very excited for him to come home each day and tell me how it's been.

Because I have to go to work every morning and there would be no one home to take care of them. It is also against the law to not have your kids in school. Ever heard of a truancy officer?

Besides the obvious answer of they need an education that I can't provide them, I also have tha benefit of having an empty house for a couple hours a day while they're at school.

Yay for the mommy.

The law makes it mandatory

Helps them learn from other environments besides home

Gets them out of the house and possibly into exercise (gym), instruments, social interaction.

On the other end, I wish I were homeschooled- I wasn't the best at social interaction.

To learn.. Although in my case its terrible waking her up. For me I would like to sleep in and not have the horrible mornings I have with my 6yr old. Yelling, getting her dressed cause she won't do it herself.... Very stressful.

so that they would grow up to be educated, sociable and nice people.. so that they would learn to enjoy learning! and so that they would get used to the adult routine. going to school is like going to work later on in life!
