I have had no landline since 15th December 2006. Each time I ring TalkTalk they promise to ring back but never do! They are still going to charge me for the service and the calls to be diverted to a mobile phone in order for me to recieve them. Has anyone else had the same problem in Norwich?

customer service... what customer service... they are hopeless... i demanded to speak to a team leader and gave them date to have fixed by or i was cancelling the contract. i also send a letter confirming what had been said in telephone call (by registered post). i then contact the trading standard who got all the charges wiped and I'm now very happy with telewest

Not in Norwich but in Derby. It turned out that we were never actually a real customer because it was sold to us through a TalkTalk salesperson but not actually done once we'd paid. We were still using out original BT internet. It was impossble to get TalkTalk to sort it out for a while but eventually we managed to speak to somebody, who said we should never have been offered the deal by anybody! Perhaps thatperson just wanted the commission. When we went back to BT they gave us good treatmnt and offers.

Good luck!

ye, their customer service is rubbish. I suggest that you email them at longwoe@cpwplc.com which is a contact I had there in High Level Complaints. Her name is Emma and she sorted out my problem after I had spent hours and hours on the phone. Also, write a letter to Steve Rescoria who is their Customer Service Director - his address is on your bill. I wrote a furious letter and two days later got several phone calls and texts and emails promising all sorts of action, and Emma sorted it out.
You're right though, TalkTalk should have sorted this out. Their service is very cheap but the customer care is frightful.
Good luck.

With us it took a mutually as to get all of it working exact, yet we nonetheless are not getting caller identification, and the internet performs up now and lower back, like once you get an email the full internet stops working, and once you attempt and open a clean window it would end too. If I have been you i could substitute over now, its relatively no longer nicely worth all this!
