Before because you have no sugar in your system to burn so the next thing would be fat that you are burning.

Better to eat first, ur metabolism does not start till you eat why they say breakfast most important meal...I would eat wait 30-45 minutes then workout..Even after supper if ya eat around 5-6 pm then walk or a quick 15-20 minute workout cardio best will burn calories, even a 10-15 minute workout before bed is good...

A lot of people will say working out before breakfast is best, but you'll destroy a lot of muscle that way. Amino acids (protien broken down, what muscle is made of) only stays in your sytem 4 hours at the most after being broken down. So when you sleep, your body begins to break down muscle to get amino acids. Working out before you eat anything will only make this worse, sure you'll lose more weight, but a lot of it will be muscle. And losing an equal amount of muscle and fat doesn't make you look any slimmer, just smaller.

You should never work out on an empty stomach. But you should never work out on a full stomach. What you should do is have a piece of fruit to ignite your blood while exercising. The fruit is the fuel needed to burn and give you energy to work out. after exercising you should replace the water lost in your body and followed up by a sinsable breakfast that would be the ticket.

my opion is to workout after breakfast because if you are trying to lose weigh you eat and workout to burn fat if you workout before you eat your energy will come down and you will be very tired and won't feel too good afterward. so eat and wait about one hour then workout.so you can sweat and burn off the food you've eaten.tha'ts the way i always do it. eat then.workout.

i workout before breakfast. I feel hunrgy when i wake up, but after i have exercised i don't feel hungry any more..i still do eat breakfast though!

I like to go before I eat. They say that if you need something to eat before you workout, eat something small (fruit, yogurt, glass of juice).

Before, then it jumps starts your metabolism so that when you do eat, it processes your food intake quicker (IE you keep less calories in your system)
