I think civic participation is a good thing, although not encouraged as much as it should be. Why are people not interested in asking questions about civil participation?

Hi Fred,
I agree. I get involved with the local Mill preservation Trust, the bell ringing, and all sorts of bits of local community.
But I live in a rural location, so I guess it is more difficult for those in a more urban situation.
Each to their own, though. but there are many community projects that we can get involved with.
I read "Talking News" for the blind, which is then distributed.
Heck, it is only two hours out of my week.
I look forwards to doing more, and I wish that more do the same.
Bob.

Well, looking at the standard of English used in a lot of questions and answers, I would guess that a lot of users don't actually know what "civic participation" means.

Edit to add: If your settings are for 'UK & Ireland questions only' then this was the first Q in the category. For 'All English Questions' there are 20+.

There haven`t been any questions on this site for a long time. I had all but, given up visiting it. I am afraid that these days people think that the extent of civil participation only goes as far as protesting outside somewhere waving a banner. This is indeed a great part of it, but also voluntary work comes under this category and community projects and street parties etc. So come on ! lets have some questions !!

"perception in God" reflects society - the reality of it. it really is a collective subconscious metaphor (mythology - faith) which symbolizes the dual, transcending courting interior a life cycle. In that context, a society behaves as if having a life, a useless ringer for a human being - its fundamental section - has. One could no longer anticipate an immature (developed to a particular severe degree) society to deal topics that would positioned its life (examine: social constellation) in risk. as an example, you are able to't anticipate a nineteenth century commercial arising society to have dealt environmental topics, or a cutting-edge society to deal topics like legalization of prostitution, gentle drugs, abortion, etc. Many societies are literally not developed - mature adequate to deal such gentle topics. imagine u . s . having a finished referendum on nuclear guns... similar way, you are able to't anticipate a baby... Psychologically talking, a baby pertains to its father and mom as Gods. father and mom are literally not Gods if there's no creation... i personally doesn't dare to be sure on all topics in this international no matter if I had that ability... i might want to leave them to the board of sensible elderly, parliament, etc. How might want to international society reply if I were to commence choosing who would have little ones and what number, on account that this international can be a much more effective useful position if the completed inhabitants were no longer larger than a million-2 billion human beings?
