He is military I am not. I do need a care plan because I have to travel for my job. I do not want to leave my kids with anyone and I do not have anyone that would agree to take them.

Only dual military couples or single military parents need the 357. If this is the case for you that you are dual. It doesnt matter. You have to find someone who is a civilian to place on the form. To help ease your concerns, in the short term block, you can find maybe a supervisor's wife that is civilian and that you moderately trust. Then have your family promise that they can be there within 24 hours. In that short term box you can put a time frame of no less then 24 hours for that person to give care. Which means that you dont have to worry too much about some freak taking your kids and not wanting them to hand over the kids to your mom....they have limited custody. This paperwork as stressful as it is (I once was a active duty single mother) is for the benefit and safety of your children. To ensure that at all times the children are cared for. The only thing that sucks about this form is alot of 1st Sgt's or 1st line supervisors like to say that you should put this form to use if the child becomes ill and can not attend daycare or school. Just another thought about the form. Hope this helps...As I said before if you are the civilian then you are the short term care giver and no paperwork is needed!

You only need a Family Care Plan if you are in the military too. But both of you do need a Will.

i'm previous protection rigidity, yet i extremely dont comprehend what you advise about the kinfolk care plan. Her and the little ones must have finished medical, and so a techniques as her husband, if her well being issues are extremely that undesirable then they could deliver him homestead. they could no longer imagine the medical doctors messages are extremely that undesirable, the desires to be somewhat more effective urgent as to her well being. He doesnt could get out of the military to come back homestead and examine the well being of his spouse.

If you're not dual military, neither of you needs a family care plan, because there's no chance of you both being deployed simultaneously.
