Wow, you have some serious hate for christians, huh? Every question you asked is directed to stir everyone up and make nasty remarks? What's the point? If you don't believe in God or christ that's fine with me. Seriously, why don't you make such stereotypes about Muslims, or Mormons, or Jehovas Whitnesses too? You seem to be pretty set on one group.

For the record, not every christian is out there trying to shove the bible down your throat. Not all of us are convinced that evolution is some evil scheme of the devil, and not all of us hate or even dislike for that matter, people of other religions or sexual prefferences!

You and everyone who leaves these messages about how awful christians are haven't met me, or my mom, or my friends....you most likely haven't even met 1/16th of the christian population...so when you've met every single one, then you can form an opinion about us.....

Until then, grow up!!!!!!!!!!!

I can only answer from the perspective that most Christians don't believe I'm a Christian. I profess Christ as my Savior, etc., but still get the old one-two punch from them because most Christians claim I'm not a Christian because of my membership in what they would like to call a cult. However, if Mitt Romney, Harry Reid, and I have anything in common it’s our religion despite the fact we are all on different sides of the political fence.

Having given you an idea of my religious orientation, my experience with many Christian professing people is that they care more about me NOT being like them than they do about my potential of being an atheist. The only reason for this supposed care is that a competing religion draws more of their members away to a different religion. Membership means money, and money talks and causes action. Conversely, there isn't much pull from somebody already religiously affiliated to join the atheists, thus there is not much effort put into putting down atheist perspectives. However, there is great cause to be concerned about another religion, especially one that cuts into a religious organization’s finances when members file off to a new religion. No wonder it is so easy to see them as a perceived cult (religion other than ones own).

What I care about is that Atheists don't mock or make fun of. That's simply not called for. If you don't believe well and great, but when you mock you're a troll on the verge of becoming a Satanist for you are becoming ANTI, which is not tolerable.

Atheists may counter with the religious being anti them, which is true in isolated instaces but you joined them, they didn't join you. If you move to Utah which was founded by the Mormons you have to expect everything to be as Mormon as it can possibly be. If you don't like it move to another state or carve out an incorporated area in the desert and make it your way.

There are lots of other places where they can go where no one will give a hoot what they believe or don't believe.

People are entitled to believe what they want, so long as they aren't physically hurting other people in the process. Large groups of people are entitled to run things their way, this is a tradition that dates back to the earliest civilizations in Africa and South America. If you move near or into a tribal village that holds the allegator as sacred and you kill allegators, you can expect them to make war against you for violating their scared beliefs.

If you follow the general rules of the area and they aren't head hunters or people eaters, you can basically expect them to leave you very well alone.

This is something that dates back millions of years on the scientific and evolutionary scale and pre-dates all other known religions on the socio-evolutionary scale, according to their own scientists!

I being a Christian have been given a commission from Jesus Christ to spread (teach) His Gospel (Truth) throughout the world so that all may hear the good news. If you or any one chooses not to hear it I am truly sorry. I can only say it is a great loss.

For God so loved the world He gave his only begotten son that all that believe in Him shall not perish but have eternal life,
John 3:16

If you start there and read on you might just find the truth you are looking for but there is no need to ask false questions on here. I say false beceause neither of these statements is true. We care because we are command to love the Lord with all our hearts, mind & strength and to love our neighbor as our selves

You make choices in your life based on who and what you believe just remember there is but ONE TRUTH.. and I pray everyone finds it.

Draco Paladin I totally agree it is not so much as I care if they accept God or not, it's the fact that they ask us not to believe. They act as if our beliefs are hurting them, or if we are forcing our beliefs on them because we do not agree with them when they say there is no God. Well I will rephrase that because all atheist do not act the same way just as not all Christians go around condemning people instead of loving people.

I can't speak for all Christians only myself. It bothers me atheist can't admit the possibility there is a higher being than themselves. The implications of denial of a higher power are endless.

*LOL* IF I were an atheist I'd just blow my brains out and put an end to what I was going through for nothing. With no God there is no purpose in life.

It has been my observation on this site that many Christians don't like ANYONE that doesn't believe exactly as they do. Atheists just add insult to injury by not believing in God at all, rather than believing in a different God/dess.

Atheists can believe whatever they want.
I do not care if they believe God's Truth or Satan's Lie that there is no God.
That is their choice to make.
They will learn the Truth in time.

I think they truly believe their lives are better because of God. Though my life is pretty good, and I don't pray. I do hope, and dream, but i know if I want something good to happen it's going to be because i worked for it, or dumb luck, not cause God said so.

I don't think Christians should care one way or the other. If they stay out of the Math & Science section and stop answering serious questions about physics with "God did it" I would be happy.
