Do they come and spar with Atheists because secretly they long to disbelieve? Is it our special Bible Decoder Ring they're after? Do they all deepdown long for a relationship with the FSM?

I'm so sick of being told I come to debate Christians because I "secretly" believe they're right. I guess we're all repressed Christians inside. :p

Jousting is fun. Jesus said sell all you own and buy a sword. Then build your artisan skills but don't hurt a hair on the head of your enemy, whom you are supposed to love. But jousting to develop skills and sharpen your abilities is a good thing. Who best to do that with but an Atheist.
As to the results, well, you see the obvioius skill levels of your opponat, especially from a third party point of view.
The idea is to put the fear of God into them during the fight.
That's exactly how I try to do it and sometimes I score some points. I loved it when almost everyone hushed up about the Big Bang theory that went on here for ages after I noted a Catholic Priest postulated it. Now it ain't so cool to use an ARGUMENT that comes from a RELIGIOUS DUDE as a tool in Athiesm!
Same thing with Genetics when I learned from another and now point it out that a Catholic Abbott is the Father of modern genetics.
We also quickly point out how Atheism is a religion, based upon the questioners hown statements. They meet the test of religion.
This doesn't work with everyone, some atheists do meet close to the test of a true atheist which is a lot like a true Muslim in Al Queda. They care about nothing. No one's feelings, no one's life, they have no problems advocating genocide of the Christians and other religious.
Why so? We have no real purpose here, other than what we create in our own minds, for we are a COMSIC FLUKE an ACCIDENT, SERENDIPITY in action. There ain't no God, right. No one gonna judge you except another ACCIDENTAL human.
And they don't make GODS out of humans.
That's a true atheist. Someone who bows to no one.
Nothing is sacred. There are no sacred cows. Rape, theft and murder are just man made concepts done by silly ACCIDENTAL humans to try and control the masses. That's just another religious concept that must be defeated.
To say I must behave or daddy will spank me, is to be religious and bow before a God and be penetant.

People are defensive of unproven beliefs, this may lead to rude commenting. Rude comments are also easier to make anomously so this is the perfect forum.
Those who spend time learning and "proving" thier beliefs by seeking truth should be careful not to alienate others from starting a spiritual journey.

This is truly a ridiculous argument, whatever side you come at it from.
Religion fascinates me, even though I'm not religious by any stretch of the imagination. I think this is why we are all on this forum--to learn, but also to teach.
