It depends on weather you are talking about the 2-door or the 4-door. I haven't seen many problems out of either one. If you get one go for the V-6. The 2-door model is a Mitsubishi eclipse with a different body, and has a 3.0 V6, fun to drive. The 4-door is built by Chrysler and will get 30 miles per gallon on the highway weather you have the 4 cylinder or the V6. It's a very practical car, you can find them at a very nice price. The only thing is just find one you want, and keep it. The resale value is bad, but they last a long time.

Dodge sold flooded the rental market with 4-cyl versions of these cars dumping the value, so ignore the NADA price, the V-6 though somewhat rare is one of the better mid size cars built in this country. My nephew has had one for 3 years now and has not been able to tear it up. lol

The only good Dodge is the Sprinter van that Mercedes makes.Every Dodge I've owned had transmission problems. One I put 5 transmission in 6 years. The U.S. does not make cars good because folks get rid of them in 5 years. I drive only Mazda, and Toyota now.

An uninspring, mundane grocery-getter with a harsh ride and a so-so reliability record. A buddy has one. He's married to the payments (upside down) so he can't afford to get rid of it but wishes he hadn't bought it. I rode up to KC with him (180 miles each way) and my back ached for days afterwards.

yeah ur throttle has a couple of screws on it that loosen themselves over use. they need to be readjusted to work at the right spot. u need a car manuel and screwdriver and need to know what the rpm should idle at. a mechanic can do it by ear, but u can do it by watchin the rpms with another person.
