Shalom,
Do not listen to the spiritually disenfranchised here, who say that Yeshua is the lamb and the PHYSICAL church is the bride. They are carnal and do not know what they are saying. The lamb is the lower nature(earthly nature) purified and raised the highest ideal, to be fit as a bride for the upper nature or heavenly nature. This is why Yeshua gave in the Gospel of Thomas:
They said to him, "Then shall we enter the (Father's) kingdom as babies?"
Jesus said to them, "When you make the two into one, and when you make the inner like the outer and the outer like the inner, and the upper like the lower, and when you make male and female into a single one, so that the male will not be male nor the female be female, when you make eyes in place of an eye, a hand in place of a hand, a foot in place of a foot, an image in place of an image, then you will enter [the kingdom]."
Anything speaking about animals/earth in the scriptures are in fact speaking to you about your lower nature. The lamb is your lower self reflecting your heavenly self thus becoming a image of it as you walk in your physical body or a bride because the female reflects her husband. And in regards to the church what has Paul specifically given and people still ignore his words?
Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own; for ye were bought with a price: glorify God therefore in your body.(The First Epistle of Paul to the Corinthians 6:19-20)
But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building. (Hebrews 9:11)
It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us. (Hebrews 9:23-24)
The church/temple is the BODY, you are the children of God and he abides within you. Your body is his temple, yet you continue to speak rhetoric about God abiding in the physical church. Only the men and women of carnal thinking or Gentiles think such things. Unloose your minds and stop expressing outwardly and search inwardly, invest in things that don't fade away.
Peace
Aza

Revelation was written by the Apostle John when he was a captive on the Isle of Patmos. His captors were Roman soldiers and he had to write Revelation in the manner that he did so that they would not understand it. The Church members were able to get it that way. If memory serves me, the "bride" was the 'Church'. Jesus never married. The sacrificial lamb was Jesus. HE offered himself in our place as a sacrificial lamb to be slaughtered on the Cross at Calvary. The book of Revelations is misinterpreted by so many people that attempt to read it Literally I ignore a their "predictions" and continue to read, study, and follow GOD's WORD. A book written by Homer Hailey called REVELATION An Introduction and Commentary (Copywright 1992) is a rather good book on Revelation. It describes the entire book piece-by-piece and describes the significance of the numbers used there. Have a great day!

Jesus is the "lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world" (John 1:29). All believers are corporately referred to as "the Bride of Christ." This is not a fleshly marriage, it's a spiritual marriage.
There is a prescident to this husband/wife reference: in the Old Testament, God referred to the Jews as His wife, although this relationship isn't currently active (see Jeremiah 3:14 and Hosea 2:2, for example).
EDIT: "Aza," The Gospel of Thomas is blasphemy.

The church is the bride. It signifies a permanent union where we'll no longer have ministers, we'll just have Christ.
