we met in london. he was one of my resident advisors and we got involved. it had to be secret because he told me his job was on the line, but there were rumors that the RA's had "histories" with past students. my question is: does he really like me? i need insight from a guys perspective. i'm not sure if i was a casual thing for him or not. he's really guarded. he still talks to me online, and he sounds really sincere.he asked permission to come and see me when he came back to the states in "a few months", but if he didn't like me and had no intention of comming back like he said, why would he waste the time online? help! what do you think?

Online/E-Mail/IM chat is all so easy for anybody, that anyone can appear anyway they want. A lot of males out there are just out there to get some and that's it. There are a lot of ******* out there, you just have to find someone genuine.

OK, if he is asking to come see you, then get a date that he will come and see if he gets tickets. If he does, then start sending him cards and tiny gifts, and talk about when he's gonna come here, that's how you'll know.
As a guy, if I was saying that I wanted to travel to see a girl, that would mean I really do. And have you considered this- it was a casual thing that he wants to repeat over and over- that's what makes a great girlfriend!

Sorry darlin, but it sounds like he is keeping in contact so that when he does have some time, you will be there waiting. I think it is safe to say you are not the only girl. Don't let your heart get too attached. Don't be that "girl on the side" for him.

Well, guys can talk with you forever and can visit you...but that unfortunately doesn't mean that he loves you...you are somewhat special to him...but not fully as you deserve. It is yours to decide do you want a half guy...probably not, cuz you will get hurt eventually...why he doesn't give himself totally.

Just relax, it sounds like he wants something casual, but he does like you. If your'e up for more than that, then tell him not to come and move on.
