The Irish flag is Green, White and Orange, maybe not in that order lol

My question is if the green and white is for catholics, does that mean the orange is for protestants or something like the orange march?

Anybody know what the 3 colours really stand for?

yes orange is for protestants

It comes from William of Orange (William lll of England) who became the King of Ireland from 1698 to 1689. He was also the king of England and Scotland at some point too. Anyway, he was a protestant and the irish protestants loved him. Many Protestants heralded him as a champion of their faith; it was partly due to such a reputation that he was able to take the crown of England, many of whose people were intensely fearful of Catholicism and the papacy
