Plasmas do not suffer that much from burn in anymore, and if I am not mistaken most of the time the logos go away during commercials, which should be plenty to prevent burn in. Plus a lot of new plasmas have a feature built in where it periodically moves the picture on the screen to prevent burnin, its just such a small movement that it is not noticed by the human eye.

i think the icons should be removed from the screen for 10 minutes at a time to reduce burn-in. either this or as the above poster writes make the logo's transparent. any company failing to comply with these measures should be fined.

the companies are puposefully trying to make them less evident and more see thru. to minimize burn in. the companies that dont do that and still make them bright and sharp detailed dont give a f---k about you or your tv.
