You dont really need MSG in your food. It is just a flavor enhancer. So just omit it from your recipes. Or you could use different spices, herbs to flavor your foods.

MSG isn't really that unhealthy, according to a 1992 report by the Council of Scientific Affairs of the American Medical Association. It stated that glutamate in any form has not been shown to be a significant health hazard.

But if you still to avoid it, try salt; it's a natural flavor enhancer since it draws the liquid inside meat or vegetables up, making for a better taste. There's also lemon-pepper seasoning (good for vegetables, pork and chicken), onion powder (just about anything) and garlic salt or powder.

thats partly untrue. MSG is readily found in tomatoes, in higher concentration than processed food
