Is 18 too old for a 16 year old girl? Well according to the law, yes, he could get into trouble with the "law". By laws of nature, I would have to say not really. Girls from what I have seen are usually attracted to older men. It is not too often that I see women attracted to younger guys unless they are older women attracted to a younger guy because he is in shape, strong and not flabby like older men have a tendancy of becoming. I think it has a lot to do with maturity levels that women look for men older than them. Think about it, guys as a general rule think primarily about sex, so it is only natural that they look for younger more attractive women, right? Ok, now women (my understanding may be wrong here since I am a man but this is my personal observation) of course want to be physically attracted to a man but I see them putting a lot of emphasis on other qualities as well, goals, ambition, ability to provide for a family, stability, ability to protect, ability to love a woman, loyalty and the list goes on. Most of these qualities that I have stated usually take a level of maturity on the mans part in order to "fit the bill" so to speak and the older a man becomes the more capable he is in fulfilling these qualities that a woman looks for. Like I always state, this example is a generality and there always exceptions to the rule. I hope this helps

Don't be silly, not too old at all (erm, incidentally I'm saying this as a British person living in a country where the age of consent is 16!!). There was an age gap of 18 years between me and my first boyfriend, so two years is nothing in comparison!!!! Nothing wrong with older men at all!!

Its just a normal thing. Girls have been attracted to older guys since the beginning of time. The problem is that this leads guys to have younger girlfriends which in turn leads to statatory rape....
