I used relaxers for couple of years and my hair is damaged and is also thinning out. So I wanted to try braids. I'm also thinking about Arisco hair products. I would like to have some reviews and suggestions on the product. Thanks a lot.

I'm not going to use any extension or things like that. I'm only going to be working with my own hair.

One other thing--- I really want to stay away from straightners, curlers, blow dryers and all that.

Yes, braids do make ur hair thicker and ur hair grow. But if ur hair has been damaged by relaxers wait alittle while because ur hair is probally still weak. But yeah braids help alot. I dunno about Arisco products, but when u find out let me know how it turns out:)

Well It really depends on the Kind of braids you are getting. Now I will say that some braids break your hair off extremely, While others do not necessarily make your hair thicker, but it makes it have more length. To make your hair thicker use Do Grow products, or try locking your hair.

you're doing each and every thing properly (braid at the same time as moist and then sleep). you would basically opt to apply somewhat hairspray to maintain your hair in position because i'm guessing it often is the tossing and turning that you do at evening thats making your hair all poofy at evening. If thats not the case, when you've wetted your hair, as a change of basically napping it rapidly, blow dry the moist braids, and then sleep :)

as long as your braids arent in too tight your hair will really grow. just make sure you moisturize your hair and braids everyday. go to growafrohairlong.com, she has an excellent program to grow your hair out w/braids

no, braids do not make your hair thicker. i should know because i probably have the thickest hair in the whole world. but i get my hair thinned out and now i can braid my hair without it being thick, frizzy, or messed up.

I don't think braids will make your hair strands thicker but in making them wavy/ curly it will probably make your hair appear thicker.
