Any one have good or bad experiences with the Y?

im thinking of joining the Y. is the membership worth it? how was your experience if you've joined?

you can exercise, participate in different activities and other things.

Where I live they have good equipment and a new building, but they are really crowded and sometimes you have to wait for a machine.

I agree you should try before you join. I bet every location is different. Try to talk to some people at the location you want to join.

The good news is, unlike other clubs, it's month to month, with no commitments. You can quit anytime if it doesn't work out.

I was a member of the Y, and I didn't like it.

I had problems with one of the treadmills, and I couldn't get any help.

Plus there were always kids running around causing chaos.

I didn't like it.
