If god created the earth, all animals, humans, in 7 days. Then when were dinosaurs around?

The Genises section of the bible states that all humans, animals, light, etc were created in 7 days.. Science has proven that dinosaurs were alive millions of years before humans. How does that work. Wouldnt the bible metion someplace that there were dinosaurs around? I just want to understand

Hi - actually God created everything in 6 days (and rested on day 7), and animals (and man) in one day (on day 6) as recorded in Genesis 1:24-27. Science has not proven when the dinosaurs lived, in fact, all they have is "theories" (guesses) about how old they are. Go find a science textbook that talks about how they age fossils, and you will find that they guess how old the fossils are by the rocks they are found in and they guess how old the rocks are by the fossils that they find in them! That is called "circular logic" and it proves nothing. Also the reason you don't find the word "dinosaur" in the Bible is because that word wasn't invented until the 1800's. Up until then people called them "dragons" and had other names for them. There are 22 verses in the "Old Testament" part of the Bible that talk about dragons, and as well as "behemoth" and "leviathan" in Job chapters 40 and 41. If you read those passages, you can quickly see that they are describing dinosaurs (In Job 40:17 it describes behemoth's tail as being like a cedar tree, which is huge!). So the Bible does talk about dinosaurs! Also all through recorded history there are lots of stories/pictures of people and "dragons" living at the same time in lots of cave art and other old paintings, legends and desrciptions of large beasts that certainly look (or sound) like dinosaurs. The fact is, God created the earth and everything in it (including us) and we don't want to admit it - because if we do, then it means that God is the boss and we are not (which we hate - everyone wants to be the boss of thier OWN universe). But don't take my word for it - investigate both the Bible AND the textbooks and see which is crazier - I think you will find that believing that the earth just "happened" (big bang) is about the dumbest theory out there, and that the Bible makes much more sense (because it is true). Christan answer: God created the dinosaurs alongside Adam and Eve, and all of man. The two co-existed together for sometime before the Great Flood. At that time, the dinosaurs were not destined to be saved and therefore were lost to the waters. Athiest answer: Adam and Even are fictional characters in a popular book. Dinosaurs on the other hand are factual animals that existed from 230 mya to about 60 mya. They were extremely successful and likely would of still existed today had it not been for the CT Extinction Event, also known as the giant asteroid that wiped out nearly all living creatures 65 mya. Few dinosaurs did survive, however, and went on to evolve into many of the animals we see today.

The book of Job refers to most likely a dino...' It had a tail like a cedar.. ..some people think the behemoth here refers to an elephant, but they have curly tails.
Btw, fossils prove absolutely nothing. They still haven't found the missing link and they never will because it's not there. They're looking for the whole chain basically.
Fossils rely on circular reasoning. Just like carbon dating has been proven grossly inaccurate.

You have been misinformed. Science has not proven that dinosaurs were alive millions of years before humans. Dinosaurs are mentioned in the Book of Job in the Bible. They were called Behemoth.

Gen.1:1,2 [ HOW MUCH TIME IS HERE SINCE ALL EXIST ]; Gen.1:3-25 THE EARTH THAT EXIST IS IN PREPARATION. Only time for Last day is given as all days are the same length. All days that end, end with all was good, day 7 has not ended.

Gen.2:2,4 day seven does not end with all was good, rather all is LOST and all days will be one day.

All daus are the same amount of time as the last day that is heading to ALL MADE NEW as before LOST in Eden. Eternal life was lost by Adam and Eve and Satan. The life sustaining earth was LOST in the flood. SAVED MEANS ALL IS BROUGHT BACK TO PERFECTION AND ONCE AGAIN IN CONNECTION WITH GOD.

Jesus is the savior of the world. Eph.2:7; 3:21; World with Jesus is without end.
Timelessness to a certain time, when its up, no Satan or evil, all is perfect and back to timelessness again.

First of all: The creation account in the book of Genesis says that there were six(6) creative days. If you actually read the account, it says that he RESTED on the 7th day.

Second of all: The assumption is that each creative day is actually one of 24 hours. The reference is to 6 TIME PERIODS. It can simply m ean a period of time. For instance the very same account of creation at Gen. 2:4 refers to "the time of their being created, in the DAY that Jehovah God made earth & heaven." Also to show that the use of the word day can simply mean a long period of time: Psalm 90:4 says "for a thousand years are in your eyes but as yesterday when it is past.

Look at it this way, when you speak to your mother or father... or any older person for that person... you know how they say "in my DAY"? Are they talking about one specific 24 hours day? Of course not. They're referring back to a certain time period.

are you familiar with the process by which scientists date fossils?

they do a piliminary guess at how old they THINK the fossil is then they choose the test that will show the years accordingly.
dinosuars are mentioned in the bible in the book of job. as behimoth and levithian.

the textbooks are not the only way to learn. do the research for yourself find out the how and why not just the what then will you have a tangeable knowlage.

Job mentions the behemoth and the leviathan that look to be dinosaurs. We dont deny dinosaurs existed, just that science has the time wrong. And why not? They're human too.

dinosaurs could have been created along with all of the animals God created in the beginning. not all animals are listed in the bible by name and kind. it doesn't mention what exactly was created, why would an exception be made for dinosaurs?.
