Tricky deamons that try to make you trust them?

I asked about ghost/angel stories earlier and I got an answer to "be careful" because I've heard there are tricky deamons that try to make you trust them and I'VE ALSO HEARD OF THAT. Does anyone have any information on this too? I'm hoping that isn't the case that I'm dealing with -- would like some feedback of persons with experience or real knowledge. No use answering if you just don't believe me -- just go to some other question -- don't waste your time :)...... THANKS A BUNCH

PLEASE JUST ANSWER THE QUESTION -- like where in the bible does it say that these "ghosts" or whatever are only demons??

I personally don't believe in ghosts, but I do believe there are angels and the devil. The devil is a tricky, evil character and will stop at nothing to get you to believe his lies. He will try to convince you that you are not worth anything or that it is ok to abuse your body with drugs. He will bring up thoughts of past hurts and try to make you hurt all over again or make you angry at the person that hurt you all over again. Everyday is a new day given to us by God to start fresh. Yesterdays mistake and regrets are gone. Don't let the devil make you trust him, do what you know is right. Hope this was a little helpful.

I have never "seen" any, but I do believe in demons. They scare, trick, and mislead you on pourpose. I believe if you have something important to do that God likes or want's you to do, Satan and his demons try to deter you from that. That is why they do what they do. They want to pull you away so Satan can get your soul. About 20 years ago, I was sliding on ice going straight under a semi-trailer back. Then, just when I should have went under, my car STOPPED on ice and the engine was OFF! Now you know an angel had to be there! Cars just don't stop like that on ice! Another thing is, when my son was young, like 2 or 3 or so, he used to come to our bed at night shaking and crying very bad. He said a "scary yellow dog with horns was after him" . He never had seen anything like that on t.v., so where could he have come up with that! I talked to my sister about it and she came over and helped me do a special prayer. To rebuke "whatever" it was "picking" on my son. It worked. Then my last experience would be, this is a long time ago too, when I would sleep, I would wake up, but I wouldn't be able to move! I was consious, but totally frozen stiff, couldn't even move a finger. I remember it was very frightning. This happened quite often. Then it just stopped. ......So those are my personal experiences. Other than what I have said here, I don't know anything except that I do believe Satan picks on people.

in the new testament jesus warned his diciples that not everyone that said your are my God were his children and that the devil and his demons mimick God's miricales. that's whgy you must pray and ask God to give you the gift to be able to know what spirit is near you good or bad

You are wise to belive in the reality of angels and demons, they are spiritual beings... and their existance affects our day to day lives. Demons were once angels who have turned away from God, because God has honored his gift of free will. In order to have reciprical love (real relationship as God intends)... free will was given to some of his creations (like angels and men). Demons chose to follow their own wisdom instead of God's, thus most of their wisdom turned to foolishness. Interestingly enough God sustains both angels and demons, both good men and evil men. I think is so till the final judgment. Anyway, demons have a deceived view of reality... while they comprise about 1/3 of the heavenly hosts, they believe they can still overthrow God in the final battle. In the meanwhile, they are collecting souls to help them in their efforts when this battle does arrive. Since a life without God leads to deprevity, horror and self service... it is exactly where demons are. They are very far from where they have started (as angels), God has turned them over to their desires. Demons, like angels have knowledge... knowledge of things we know little about (what appears to us as magik). Their goal is only one... to pull a lie "matrix" over your eyes (if you have seen the movie Matrix)... a lie that permiates our society... a lie that causes us to sin without even knowing it. They tend to incite emotions... causing unexplained levels of anger, lust, envy, greed, selfishness, fear and such. They tend to inhabit addictions, litterarly making it impossible for some to break free of them unless they get prayer to break free of them (spiritual warfare). Some they no longer oppress, but go as far as possess. If you recall, a single sin is sufficient to be cast in Hell (to be claimed by them)... this is why it is so important to know the truth of God (which demons try to hide/grey out). The truth being that in Jesus, we have been given the freedom from such evil... God is willing to break the chains that bind us, if we are willing to chose him. He does not violate your free will, and so God does not force himself upon you... you must chose Him. The danger with getting enthralled by ghosts/angels is that it takes your focus away from God... which is where it should be. Ghosts are nothing more then free roaming demons taking the shape/looks of people... they don't like being out of bodies for some reason, so you should not run into much of this. They are quite comfortable possessing people/animals and other living things (if they can). The souls of people once they die are either in Hell or in Heaven (since Jesus' resurection)... they do not roam the earth. So you see one, its a demon looking for a home... demons can also look like people or angels, so just because you see a celestial being all in white... does not mean it is from God... by the fruit of a tree we can tell its type. If what they say does not line up with the character of God, then do not follow it. It is best to simply know they are real, but keep our eyes on Jesus... hope this helped a bit.
